@@SmokeyBear363 equipment operators/mechanics tend to promote slow af so he's probably inching near retirement as a SSgt, or if he's lucky a Gunny before he retires.

As a 1341, it's a good bet that the SSgt has bad knees, spine and back. As an 0311, I had those, plus a serious addiction to a blank state caused by the "H" for "Happiness" in "USMC." Yut.

A lot of people forget this that are in the military, especially in the Marine Corps you are first and foremost a rifle man no matter what MOS your sign to you better be able to operate a rifle

That's disrespectful to 0311 Riflemen. Every Marine can shoot and is a marksman, and they can help out if need be and not get everyone killed, but they aren't Riflemen. Infantry is one of the hardest jobs, and to act like everyone is a capable infantryman is just bullshit. I was an 0351 and went to Iraq twice in the Corps and a few years as a contractor, no not everyone is a rifleman, Rifleman is a primary MOS and those guys worked hard to earn it, and train hard to maintain their skills. In a pinch sure everyone can put some rounds down range, but don't pretend everyone is a capable grunt if they don't have 03 in front of their MOS or their not comm guy in a grunt unit or a green side Corpsman in the fleet.
