    Awesome stuff! I was skeptical at first, have been using it for 6 months and it’s a very noticeable difference. When I apply it to the soil in liquid form along with the Humic acid to do the 5/1 my roots have exploded in growth! In my 9 years of growing I’ve never seen something work so good on my roots!

    • @NPKIndustries
      @NPKIndustries  Před 6 lety +2

      For the organic bio stimulants like RAW Kelp, we recommend using withing 24 hours of mixing for best results. If applying from a reservoir with proper temps and airstones you can extend that to about 72 hours or so.

    Hey have you guys considered releasing a video set for all this, like in depth analysis over a couple months worth of time. I know you have classes, but it just seems like this would be a great way for people to have access instead of classes.

    • @NPKIndustries
      @NPKIndustries  Před 4 lety +3

      You can. Reduce the concentration by half or so. If you see any brown spots appear, reduce the concentration even further. Wouldn't Foliar anything after week 4 of flowering though.

    Can we use seaweed for foliar feeding along with the Canna products like A+B or Accelerator ?

    • @NPKIndustries
      @NPKIndustries  Před 4 lety

      NPK RAW products are compatible with pretty much any other feeding regimen. For foliar, we recommend a 5:2 ratio of fulvic acid (Full-Up) to Kelp, and with a light dosage - 1/16 tsp Kelp to just a bit over 1/8 tsp of Full-Up. And if you've got it, Yucca is always recommended in foliar applications - you only need a TINY bit of that. Dosage for RAW Yucca is 1/16-1/8 tsp per 5 gallons of solution.

    How is chelated calcium (as calcium sodium chelate dry salt) beneficial over the other water soluble calcium compound used as fertiliser, aka calcium nitrate? Obviously, calcium nitrate supplies some nitrogen as well as calcium, whereas the chelate salt doesn't. However, calcium nitrate can chemically interact with water soluble sulphate salts (i.e. potassium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, ammonium sulphate) and phosphate salts (i.e. potassium phosphate, ammonium phosphate) to form relatively insoluble calcium sulphate and calcium phosphate, respectively, which means that the Ca2+ cations are 'locked out' and not immediately assimilable to the plant (but I suppose Ca sulphate and Ca phosphate are OK as slow-release Ca sources). I am concerned that the Na+ presence in the calcium sodium chelate could harm my citrus plants, which are grown in fast-draining potting mix. What are your thoughts, Harley?

    • @NPKIndustries
      @NPKIndustries  Před 6 lety +1

      As long as you aren't adding the calcium nitrate to phosphates and sulfates in a concentrated form, there shouldn't be much lock out. Adding Amino Acids to the mix prior to adding those will help to reduce lockout.

    • @NPKIndustries
      @NPKIndustries  Před 6 lety +1

      Don't think that there's a downside to adding aminos at the end, however, if you add it before the calcium/mag it will help to keep that from reacting with whatever else is in the reservoir.

    • @YouGrowIGrow
      @YouGrowIGrow Před 6 lety +1

      Ian Davison-dalton I add about 1/16th or less, works wonders. You should use a wetting agent with it, NPKs is Yucca. I personally use Heavy 16’s Foliar spray with the Kelp as my wetting agent

    • @NPKIndustries
      @NPKIndustries  Před 6 lety +1

      Per gal, you would use 1/16 teaspoon. Per liter, divide by about 4... A little goes a loooong way.
