How Do Cats See the World? Cat Vision vs. Human Vision

The purpose of this video is to help teach the general public about cat vision in hopes of helping to understand how cats perceive the world, especially since cats are such widespread animals and their behavior often gets misunderstood or misinterpreted, as it's easy for us to anthropomorphize an animal's actions. Of course, cats rely on many senses and their behavior is shaped by many factors, but I chose to focus on vision due to time constraints as well as the fact that vision is most salient for humans (we don't have whiskers or rotatable satellite ears after all). There are many, many more facts I could get into, but I hope this short video helped you understand a cat's perspective and perhaps empathize with them a little bit more. I feel that understanding an animal's perspective and behavior can foster better interactions with them and help us provide them with shelter and care that better fits their needs.
