For those wondering: it didn’t get a good because the lab belt moved too much which could cause injury.
Do you think this will also happen with the Ford Expedition?

@@matthewmooney4301 It also happened with the G80
@@matthewmooney4301 I have no idea, these never before crashed models could be unexpectedly terrible in a lot of ways. Also wouldn't be surprised if they do OK but then only apply to current vehicles because safety changes made in the last couple months/year
The high fatality rate of the GMC Yukon despite its size makes me think it might be less safe than it could be
The backseat wave is a nice touch.

Haha didn't expect to see you here, Matt! 😂
First time seeing a F segment car being crash tested
First public video of the G90
Please test more large flagship sedans. I’m in the market for a 7 Series or an LS500 but there are no third party test results for these kind of cars. You guys are the only ones who can!
We all need Tesla Cybertruck crash test.
I hope the Tesla Cybertruck fails miserably. Even master bullshitter of the world Elon Musk already admitted that Tesla dug its own grave with the Cybercrap. Not my words, but the worlds of the bullshitter himself.
I think there is one or more here.
The NHTSA did one I think
@@Vanguard.INHTSA didn't do it.
@@user-kn8xu9uh8q ncap?
Is the first long wheelbase executive car that has been tested? Havent seen a 7 serise s class a8 or LS crash
Seriously Genesis
Not the best look I agree, should be Good.
Wow
👀
Just being transparent, but these dummy kinematic readings may not be the most accurate? Humans do not have massive leading edge circling their waist above their pelvis going into their abdomen. I understand that a lap belt on a human, with clothes, may not experience the same effects. These readouts effectively change the way the industry operates.
If the lip belt slips above the pelvis, the force would be applied fully to the abdominal organs.
@@Yep57982 yes, I understand the physics behind how and what happens. I’m saying these plastic/rubber tank top wearing dummies are providing. Inaccurate measurements. Every SUV has a varying degree of angle of how the dummy sits and where the belt will go on a slippery rubber dummy belly right above their pelvis region.
.
G80 has a centre airbag but the G90 doesn't???
It’s a frontal crash
I wonder if these center airbags and the rear torso side airbags are effective as they’re not prevalent in the US
@@sta255_ Yeah but the curtain airbags deployed, so if it had one, the centre airbags should've as well. Cos it deployed for the G80, so that means the G90 doesn't have it.
?
Good work, Genesis. 😑👍🏼👌🏼👏🏻😉

acceptable for a top of a line luxury car? Typical hyundai quality
luxury has never meant safer car...
lexus gets marginal or poor lol
@@user-op7vy5ny4r at least toyota does not hide recalls and defects like hyundai
@@miraphycs7377 you serious? they did with acceleration problem which killed over 20 people, and got fined 1B+.
@@user-op7vy5ny4r Toyota? I laugh, do you mean the biggest nothingburger in automotive history? The one that fake news ABC hired a professor with ulterior motives to rig the electrical system to make Toyota look bad and Toyota exposed him by replicating the same phenomenon on all the other makes? There are videos on this site that shows that the problems with the floor mats can happen on any car if drivers were stupid enough to put thick mats on top of the carpet and didn't lock into place. Even if the mats did somehow slid and trapped the gas pedal, people could have put their cars into neutral to disconnect the engine and transmission to gradually slow down the car and pull over and fix the carpet.
Another unacceptable result and this time for an even more expensive car. Genesis the king of mediocrity. The NPC version of a Lexus.
Yes
It got acceptable so it's acceptable so you think what you think about it being a NPC Lexus
i bet lexus will get marginal or poor lol
