Arowanas are freshwater bony fish of the family Osteoglossidae, also known as bony tongues. In this family of fish, the head is bony and the elongated body is covered by large, heavy scales, with a mosaic pattern of canals. The dorsal and anal fins have soft rays and are long based, while the pectoral and ventral fins are small. The #arowana is a facultative air breather and can obtain oxygen from air by sucking it into its swim bladder, which is lined with capillaries like lung tissue.
Arowana originates from South America and found in several Asian rivers and lakes as well. These fascinating #fish are kept in aquariums and cost differently based on their scale coloration, presence of golden texture, or priced based on the effort needed to breed them. They are one of the attractive #aquarium fish they are aggressive, high jumpers, and uniquely mouthbrooders.

The fish barely have enough room to turn around. I know this is Asia and everyone lives in cramped conditions including fish. At least water looks clean and look healthy

@@squares8657 Well can we agree on that the tank is empty and sterile , besides water theres nothing . Fish needs rocks , tree roots , plants to have a good life . This tank is only to display the fishes and show of clean water . Do you want to live in a house with nothing but walls ? When having animals its your duty to give them the best life possible , and this is the exact opposite .

What a boring a$$ life for your fish mate. You should strip your own house of everything natural to you and you guys can walk around looking out the windows at everything that moves - for what little enjoyment you can find. Maybe some fish can keep your house sparkly clean for you. If you choose to house giant fish in a box, the least you could do is give them the most natural habitat your money can afford, given you could get most of it free and a river or pond. It's called kindness, and strength to know true dominion. I've been a fish keeper 20+ years and your tank sucks.
fish does not really need decors, infact most large decors can block swimming space but with small decors they can be easily moved and sometimes fish can get trap
Big arwana like this usualy grow in big pond until they get to big size and they move it to a tank soo each fish can get more care, better water quality soo the can show more color , arwana in pond have much darker color than the one in the tank bc poor water quality and outdoors
70% of their life are in the big pond, thats why the can get to that big size.
They can't get to that size if they only grow in tank trust me.
once they get older they will go back to the big pond and have more baby arwana, Repeat.

The animals certainly feel very comfortable in this much too small aquarium, where there are no rocks, no plants and not even sand. This is torture at its worst. That's why there is also a thumbs down & I report the video.
Terrible tank. Clean tank doesn't mean a healthy tank. Planted, dirted tank is healthier
