Damiano the lead singer wrote this song when he was 16...they started basking on the streets of Rome since in high school...so they're really good friends ❤love from Italy 🇮🇹

Damiano wrote this great song when he was 17 years old. Marlena is his muse(she is present in 5 or 6 old songs but I think it's a bit of a kid thing, I think we'll never hear from her again. I recommend you watch the beautiful video of this song.

Marlena is a recurring character in a series of songs released around this time (2018). On the surface, they sound like love songs, but they take on a whole new layer of meaning when you learn that Marlena is the band's muse.

The first one is L'altra Dimensione where Marlena takes them to Il Ballo Della Vita (The Dance of Life) and then is Morirò da Re, where with Marlena beside him he (Will Die as a King). After this is Le Parole Lontane (The distant words) and the feeling that Marlena is leaving and with this song Torna a Casa asking her to come back or he is afraid he will disappear. It is an amazing group of songs all with great videos as well.

If you want to hear and/or react to more Måneskin, you need to keep in mind that their English and Italian songs are very different. Their more meaningful and deep lyrics are always in Italian, while the English ones tend to be more shallow (with the exception of Trastevere), although quite fun and good in other ways.

I love their italian songs, the lyrics are so poetic.❤️🫶 I think in this song Damiano’s (the singer) voice is so beautiful.
If you want to check more of them you should check out vent'anni which is also an italian song and one of my fav, but they have english songs too like The Loneliest or Valentine. I fyou would like a more upbeat and rock song I recommend Zitti e buoni (they wont the Eurovision with this song) and In Nome Del Padre
