    Tenet is a great film. What makes it inferior to other Nolan movies is that, it lacks the emotional element, his other movies pocess.
    All right, the relationship between Protogonist and Neil is good, but still lacks something.
    In his other movies, audience would root for the hero... Like in Inception, Interstellar etc.... Here we can't get that feeling to root for The Protogonist.

    • @Caped___Crusader
      @Caped___Crusader Před 3 lety +3

      Nolan did this intentionally. The Protagonist is given no name, no backstory, and no traditional character arch on purpose. The Protagonist was never meant to be a Cobb or a Cooper. This is a unique writing approach to a main character and once you understand TENET on a deeper level, you’ll admire Nolan’s decision to write the Protagonist the way he did.
