Casio MRW210H with Velcro Watch Band

- I recently spotted a familiar, large-faced analog watch at Walmart and I had to have it! This is a variation of another watch I already purchased last year but the color attracted me as well as the Velcro watch band. It’s a simple, straightforward watch with three analog hands and a window at the 3:00 position for day-of-the-week and date indicators. It’s mostly made of lightweight resin with a bi-directional moving bezel. The accuracy should remain better than 30 seconds per month on a three-year battery. And it even has a nice 10 Bar water resistance rating which should be plenty for 99% of us who’ll be using it (although I don’t know how well this watch band will last if it gets wet very often). It might be a fantastic “beater” watch with a great, outdoorsy, earth-tone color scheme… or it might look just a little too nice to be a beater after all.
Bought some of the similar model variations as beater watches at work, I love the fact that they are easy to read, have the day & date features and couldn't beat the price around $20.
I have this watch in the all black version, great watch takes a beating easy to read with my 60 year old eyes
Just bought it. Cheaper then changing the battery. Love the watch. I can see it without glasses. Best bang for the buck, thanks for the review.
I just got this model Casio for my birthday and it's a great watch.
I like those particular 210H models because they are larger diameter and easier for me to just glance at it without whipping out my glasses. I have the Combat 210H which is black on olive drab and the white dial face one. It is the next best thing to wearing a wall clock on your wrist.
My eyes are old . Does this watch also glow in dark?
The rotating bezel is much smoother than the one on previous models. Also, I like how the tip of the second had is accented with a little color. I have the black version of this watch, I thought I lost the previous one. This new is an improvement.
Hi Greg, glad you're back on the watch videos only so many solar panels I can collect 😁 Seriously the Casio Quartz is not a water watch, however your in-depth setting procedures are nothing short of a master class in time keeping. With no Atomic time signal down under in Australia I count on my Casio Bluetooth watch to keep accurate time. Keep up the teaching Greg.

I like the idea of setting it to the day before. I have several of these "beater" Casio's, I love them because all you have to do is pull the crown to set and change the time which is much easier than their digital watches, also easier to read

I just got one in black with a green velcro strap for the price of $13 bucks. The Walmart in my area is closing and they have a blow out sale.
I bought this watch with the green nylon strap yesterday. Walmart had it on clearance for 5 dollars! Couldn't pass it up.
I'm looking for a Casio Melody from the 80s.
Never seen that model here in UK, looks quite similar to the MRW-200 series which are great Casio watches.
That bezel seems to move around too easy though.

They are sold in the UK and are very similar to the MRW200H the difference is the 200H has a case size of 43mm and the 210H has a case size of *50mm!!* A bit of a monster IMHO

[Re: notoriously small digital displays on Casio watches] That is why I wear AE-1500WH-5AVCF. It has good sized display, 100 m WR (I swim in it all the time, no issues). They oscillate in price from $20-$25, and they weight nothing on the wrist. Since I bought one, I only wear a different watch when it's a bit more formal occasion or when I have to wear long-sleeve shirt (I'm in Florida, so that's almost never).

Nice simple everyday watch, not to keen on the strap, but for the price what's not to like, when you go to Walmart do they put the red carpet out LOL and good to see you still enjoying your Sand & Land I'm wearing mine as I watch this video

Just ordered the OD Green version, looks decent I just wanted a basic watch, trying to get away from technology. Eventually getting a faraday bag to put my phone in while I wait out the Verizon 2 year contract, and wanted to be able to tell time without looking at a phone. Little disappointed to see how loose that outer ring was, I’m a little OCD so I think that always moving is going to drive me crazy. Do the hands light up with tritium or some other glow in the dark technology? Thanks for the video
No, the speed at which tour hands moving is also factored
The faster your hand moves while submerged the higher the presure on your watch

I like mine, but my bezel doesn't move. Maybe I need to force it to get it moving. I might have gotten the green one of I had seen it first.

Im a big Casio fan. Two Foresters in the last 20 years sold me. Im pretty ruff on a watch due to my farm & outside job duties. At the latest 30 dollar price goin 2 years comes to 4 cents a day. Got this very model on the way to me for $25. Good review. Thanks. Whats your every day watch ?

It does not. The user has to advance the date 5 times per year.
