Honoring Ukraine's First Lady: Olena Zelenska

The Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security honored Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska, for her tireless efforts to rally worldwide support for Ukraine at the 2022 Hillary Rodham Clinton Awards. In this video, First Lady Zelenska reflects on the strength of Ukrainian people who are actively fighting for democracy, following Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
“I believe that all these challenges are making everyone stronger. We are all just waiting for victory so that we may be free,” she said.
