I am worried about procedures and examinations which include mannequin since I won't be able to work with any, and of course the simman. Do you have any recommendations? How can I practice for those ones? Thank you so much in advance.
Thankyou. Thanks for your question. Mannequins and Simman are fine without the original one. You can verbalise and find something to substitute like a pillow or a cloth mannequin which gives you similar feeling of working with an original one. For Procedures, I would recommend doing them at your hospital just like you would do in PLAB 2 exam or purchase a venepuncture pad from amazon and practice as many times as you like at home. Just my suggestion :)

Is there any occupational health checkup for hepatitis before the Job? Please guide me so that I can start my preparation with no confusion.

Make a pro and con chart for all the academies and the things they provide. Also prepare a column of things that are important for you, for example- notes provision, live classes, student interaction, etc. Try to find out which academy ticks off most of your priorities. With a pro and con chart, you can decide which one has the most benefits. Dont forget to put No. of recommendations in your list- it should be one of your deciding factors along with other. Hope it helps!
One thing that helped me pass PLAB 2, was introducing this format of examinations, and history taking in my medical practice, such that I had practice every day. I have no issues with most academies, just that the top ones, are very scripted, which is something you would want urself to be away from. Be as natural as you can, and trust me you will excel!

I don't know where you heard it from. These are two separate exams for two separate countries. To work in either, you need to take their separate exams. FMGE cannot replace PLAB and PLAB cannot replace FMGE. Hope it makes sense

Hello there, thankyou. Congrats for your OET and booking for your PLAB 1 exam. I can tell you that I only used Plabable & Plab gems for my PLAB 1 and managed to score 128 (passing was 114 I think). So, you can try that too. :)
Oh don’t be, the most difficult part is beginning, once you have started the momentum will follow. Once you start giving it time, you will be less scared and more confident. Go for it!
Medicine is similar everywhere. The pattern of questions asked is different. It may not prepare you directly but will help you with concept clarification when preparing for PLAB 1

Dont worry about being introvert! Linking your IPS with your personality is a very limiting thought. I have seen many of my introverted colleagues with excellent IPS. IPS does not only come from practicing for PLAB exam, it comes from your everyday interaction with people around you. Make it a habit to talk to people randomly, observe their reactions, make changes accordingly. Observe other people while they are talking to you, learn from them. Hope it helps
What it needs is practice and understanding of the station- to only *ask relevant questions* ! Remember *practice is the key* , but a right kind of practice- so get a good feedback on your stations, know what questions are relevant and what are not, and try to be economic with your words. Don't try to overexplain. Try to _analyse_ where you can cut down your speech to save time! Hope it helps!

Thats right, the practical aspects are great too over there. Its a good resource for an understanding of some scenarios.

There is not much difference in the academies, you may prefer whatever you feel is the best one for you

Use plabable, the exam is just plabable . U can aswell read plab keys
Use Plabable and plabkeys. That's more than enough to pass PLAB 1
