A simple way to make pvp a little better is to completely remove resonance effect. Whales will still have the bonuses and modifyers from gems which will still make them 3x stonger than people with low to mid rank gems and legendary gems.
And for most pvp there should be a league system for combat ratings or lvl. Hell difficulty is already there with recommended combat ratings and lvl, just apply that to pvp.
Thats the whole point of resonance though, to show off your credit card power.

I do not understand that. 1. I awakend a R10 Everlasting Tor. at my head. 2. I click on Gem Resonance, get into that menue and it shows me to place into the empty slot a Trickdhot Gem. The other locked slot is for Pain of Subjugation. I put a R1 Trickshot gem in, but i cant replace it with 5* gems. Can you explain me how to do step by step, please? I can't find another video in my language...
Actually, this doesn't seem to increase res. It will unlock the slot but the res goes back down. I just tried it with a 1 star gem I leveled up to rank 10. I took out the R10 and replaced it with a R1 and the slot opened up for the next gem, BUT the res and the bonus attribute that I once had (shown on the left side of the screen) I lost. If you watch him do it in the video, he puts in the R7 Blood soaked jade opens up the slot and puts in a Echoing shade. Then he takes the R7 BSJ out and replaces it with the R4 BSJ and the base attributes as well as the Res goes down. So he in fact lost 30 res doing that.

He put it in so he get another slot to bump the res up + get the tiny bonus.
2 star gem dream build class wizard: Bloody reach, power and command, kir sling, clasp, fervent fang, abiding curse. all of them rank 10 gears are awakened.
normal gems are all rank 7.
If i can have that I will call it a day.
There is 1 thing about the f2p resonance that was shown but now said. Awakening a gem is paywalled. The ONLY way to awaken a gem is thru the Dawning Echo, which is bought with 1000 Orbs, and they are only IAP (~$20 USD/ gem)
Orbs should be available at some frequency for F2P, in the hopes they use them for Dawning Echo or anything else.
Otherwise advice and opinions are all valid👍

The cooldowns he’s talking about on undying and conjuration is ONLY OUTSIDE OF PVP. in pvp the cooldown reduction is affected by strife and is reduced by 60% so no, you won’t have 4 sec cooldown on undying or permanent conjuration

Fighting a head cold, so maybe I'm a little slow, but would love step by step instructions on how to do what he is talking about. I currently have all 3-5 stars at lv 4 and one 4 star at lev 5. Questioning whether it is better to get beserker to lv 10 and replace one of my gems. And if so exactly what to do. TY
You need to get any gem to rank 10 first, then buy dawning echo to awaken the gear it's in.

i mean if you already have those high level 5 star gems you should be already having very high res and gaining extra 30 doesnt mean much, its not gonna work for a f2p or very low spenders anyway
I have only been playing for a month, but I just learned that the beastiary had those research for each 10 entires. Also, I used legendary crest and got a 3 of 5 gem. I forget the name but it's the one that summons 4 fireballs when using skill. Is it a good gem yo equip? All my other gems are 2 star, rank 2.

So I got my 3k wings and I have a buddy who got his 4k wings. We’re both doing the numbers at the moment. The best seems to be 3-4 of the absolute best gems like BSJ, Seeping Bile, Bottled Hope, etc. and 2-3 1-2* gems like Berserker’s Eye, Kir Sling, etc.
Also my buddy lost 1k reso roughly and had the same numbers with all the magic attributes additionally helping. I’m starting to think I should use my other 5* as awakening gems and using BE/KS etc.

I am definitely not what I would consider a kracken but still a whale imo. Would like to also state. If I went pure resonance I’d probably be 5.8-6k ish. I spent way more on normal gems than res gems. The stats from those are far more important. Every rank 7 before the influx from lairs is around 330k plat. I think I spent around 5-6 mil plat on normal gems in total. Just to have a few close to rank 8, considering you need 5 7’s to make an 8 safely. As for the 25-30 k. Would be in aud considering I’m on an oce server. So it’s probably 16 k usd

Is it true resonance is normalized in Tower PvE? I saw that somewhere.
I think it's possible to to get that tower without being a whale. You just need the right team and and strategy.
Ive seen lower res groups get close to 3k turn in's.
So knowing what to do and who to do it with can make it possible to be competitive for the PVP tower.
My kill rate solo in the tower is super fast, I don't see how it could get much faster. So I just need a strategy and a group.

Having played for 8 months now just buying battle passes the pay to play in this game is simply insane of wanting to compete in real pvp..

I don't have the "gem resonance" option it says "socket gems" there instead... Any advice?
You have to upgrade it to level 10 before you get that option. It's called "awaken"

Resonance is not enough.., it’s necessary to upgrade normal gems too for max powering,..
its called gate keeping on the towers .the big spenders can mow you down thats why so many people where pissed at blizzard one for it being a mobile game thats not what they told us and 2 micro trans and the gate keeping is going to be bad way worse than it is.

I wish I had known how the state of this game would of played out I have 3090 resonance and wish I could go back to battlepass only and focus 1 and 2 star gems prolly 4k+ $$ wasted because you just face bigger whales in pvp anyhow and the money spent is really not doing anything
That's where they get you which is why I will be doing no pvp.
