It never fails man. When I'm working around the house, from concrete to tool repairs I come straight to this channel for help every time. You know what your doing man! Thank you!
@ 5:30, look at the new plug. When tightening the exterior clamp, push/pull on the cord as you tighten, making sure both screws tighten evenly. Once the cord no longer moves give the screws a 1/4 turn tighter only. If the clamp is too tight, there is a risk of crushing the wires and causing them to arc and short out. Personal experience taught me that one...
I have a problem with my Makita HM1812 model. When I press the trigger switch it starts for few seconds then it will stop. Please advise and let me know what do you think is the problem.

Next time you're at Home Depot pick up a pair of wire strippers, they work better than a steak knife.
But can wire strippers cut a steak? Didn't think so.
I concur. My tool box is full I need multi purpose tools

Makita's price and specs when matched up side by side is the best deal.
What happens if u have no green light?
Stop and check both direction
@@OdellCompleteConcrete thank you for the response 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I checked again and green light is on but nothing happens when I press trigger .. could it mean my trigger is badd ??? I appreciate your time …
Where I can buy the shie switch?
I got it online
@@OdellCompleteConcrete which website did you order the switch?
When the switch eventually goes bad you can fix it right away and not have to rent another hammer if you’re in the middle of a job.
