I love when Billy goes Salmon fishing on the Gander River. He says that people ask him if he thinks about his jokes when he is fishing. He says “No, when I’m fishing, I think about fishing, that’s why I go fishing”
I feel the same way about a couple of my hobbies. I do them to concentrate only on that task at that time. That is what is relaxing, even if they are physically and mentally demanding

His ability to speak with strangers comes from his Irish roots. Irish people speak to anyone

If God had a human voice it should be Billy Connolly's. Billy Connolly makes everything better.

I can´t believe the scenery and music in this video; it is so breathtaking. I´m hoping to visit Canada someday. Perhaps in footsteps of Billy.

He is funnier than hell yes, a great banjo player too and actor but the best thing about Billy Connolly is this is an enthusiast. He finds beauty, grace and humor where ever he goes.

I happened to stumble on this show when I was flying from Toronto to Calgary on Air Canada and it was in the 'travel' section of their inflight entertainment. I've since found a few other episodes on various networks - what a delightful show. Being from Nova Scotia - he does our province and our ship the Bluenose proud!

The music was written by Nainita Desai & Malcolm Laws employing the services of many fine musicians, one of whom was Paul.

The song that was used on the trailer on TV was "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon

My friend's mother hates his "vulgarisms and rudeness" on his stand-up, but she still loves the show (and Billy) as a person. And I think that is really evident of the international appeal Billy has. He could walk up to the most remote human being there is, ie a man who grew up with lions on the plains of Africa, and instantly connect.

Kings of Leon from Tennessee (where I live).
How funny that a band from my home reminds me so much of Scotland!

    Good Day,
I saw the entire program,..It was very well done!
Mainly presents the "touristy" parts of each Province,..kind of highlights..& does super job presenting N.W.T! He picked up on the Northern ppls spirit..I was surprised...
    I recommend watching it!
    Thanks for adding this eh!
P.S Yes iluvdesmond is correct. Northwest Passage is part of CDN landscape..The trouble is the Gov't has not been guarding it with much tenacity..this attitude has begun to change, as of late..
    Thanks again eh!
