I'm 77 years old, and I played Hanks Melodies and sang Cliff songs over a lot of years in bands in Germany. Cliff and the Shads are a serious and high quality band, they created music for generations. I see the full reunion concert x-time in a month: it reminds me of wonderful and sensational times, and it is still a big and wonderful part of my life. For me they are the best!! Cliff and Hank are the "stars". Greetings to all fans.
On my 20th birthday, 1969, I had a present from my girlfriend. It was an album, "Out of the Shadows". Now, 54 years later we are enjoying this wonderful concert together.
When I saw Hand with that Burns Guitar, wow, need I say more. I have the Bass version (with the Wild Dog),,of circa 1963 manufacture, and it still plays perfectly.
I was one of the touring truck drivers on this European tour which finished in Denmark. As a thank you Cliff and the band hired a complete Thai restaurant for a final get together meal for all of the crew. Magical times being served my meal by the band. Great memories.
That is the same I woud like to say. The first LP i bought was Cliff and The Shadows. And "THE YOUNG ONES" i saw swvwral times. They are really the BEST.👋👌

Well , all those great early songs of Cliff... Then came my first tour in germany in 1977 , we first stopped in AACHEN where i bought that great double album with all Cliff's early hits...I still have it and i will love it for ever..❤❤ Thank you Cliff...Hope to meet you , one of these days...😊

Wow what wonderful tunes n singing, 60 years ago this was always on in the radios in my part of the world. In 1962 the band came here to do voluntary show for freedom from hunger, which dad gladly took us. The family felt proud taking part. Thanks Cliff, thanks the shadows, thank you all God bless

I'm no spring chicken, but was a mere glint in my fathers eye when these boys were coming on form. Late GF told me she & her friend would cry in front of the TV watching the pelvis & falling off a Cliff as teenagers to the dismay of her father. She walked in 2010 age 60 to put dates into context. Never stopped loving Cliff as fashion wavered, she was always filled with glee with any manifestation. Nice to participate in the shared joy & sheer fun these guys extol. I had the privilege of seeing a concert by Cliff Richard and the Shadows at the Cinema Império, in Lisbon, on the 12th of December 1965, it was fantastic. It was the first show I attended live, the girls were screaming in hysterics. Impossible to forget that day. I had the complete collection of Shadows records, but I got rid of them, and today I can listen to them on you-tube... in short, modern things. For me, The Shadows, Moody Blues and Pink Flyd are the best of the best!!!
Im 64 this yr & heard his music when i was about 6-8 &loved him since. I went to c Time & Heathcliff & various concerts right up to & incl the Reunion concert. As gd as when i seen him at a gig where i lived & my 17th b'day . Great singer & The Shads also.
Saw Cliff and the Shadows in 1960 or 61 first time he came to 🇿🇦 South Africa .. will never forget the opening Shazam and then segue into Move it .. unforgettable time for me at the start of a 50 year career in entertainment. I wonder how many other kids they’ve inspired over the years. And this is such a beautifully rehearsed and staged showcase of their consummate talent and hard work. Have seen Sir Cliff in concert 4 times over the years. He is incredible to see and his voice is just amazing to listen to. He never missed a note or beat and has maintained his voice over time..A legend for sure. Love this guy!!

I went through my teenage years listening to Cliff and the Shadows among other great rock and roll artists. My friends thought I was weird because my teenage years were in the 80s. Still my favourite.
My brother and I played rock and roll, pop, and later jazz. We played with a number of cover groups from ‘64 to the ‘90’s. One of the biggest gigs we ever played was because of Cliff Richards. We were asked to audition for a convention and we had to do a Cliff Richards song for the audition. We made the audition and got a lot of exposure by doing the convention. Thanks Cliff! You are one the top artists of all time!!!
We still sing Cliff Richard's songs in India (cliff Richard's birthplace when India was still under the British!) Favorites are Young ones, Summer Holiday, Bachelor Boy amongst others. Thanks Cliff for these get together and happy picnic songs!

I grew up listening to cliff and the shadows my family were big fans , as a youngster I saw cliff and the shadows in concert ,I was totally in ore always excellent performances. I also saw cliff in his theatre performances also fabulous. I'm middle-aged now and still listen to cliff and the shadows ,great performers .xoxo❤
This video is already from 14 years ago but still ... what CLASS!!! I always was a big fan of the shadows and always will be! Reunions like this really show what for musical artists they really are! What a performance! Just TIMELESS!!!

Wow what wonderful tunes n singing, 60 years ago this was always on in the radios in my part of the world. In 1962 the band came here to do voluntary show for freedom from hunger, which dad gladly took us. The family felt proud taking part. Thanks Cliff, thanks the shadows, thank you all God bless

I'm no spring chicken, but was a mere glint in my fathers eye when these boys were coming on form. Late GF told me she & her friend would cry in front of the TV watching the pelvis & falling off a Cliff as teenagers to the dismay of her father. She walked in 2010 age 60 to put dates into context.
Never stopped loving Cliff as fashion wavered, she was always filled with glee with any manifestation.
Nice to participate in the shared joy & sheer fun these guys extol.

I had the privilege of seeing a concert by Cliff Richard and the Shadows at the Cinema Império, in Lisbon, on the 12th of December 1965, it was fantastic.
It was the first show I attended live, the girls were screaming in hysterics. Impossible to forget that day.
I had the complete collection of Shadows records, but I got rid of them, and today I can listen to them on you-tube... in short, modern things.
For me, The Shadows, Moody Blues and Pink Flyd are the best of the best!!!
I am a great fan of Cliff Richard, I have been listening to his many songs since I was a teenager.And now at 69 l am still listening.
Im 64 this yr & heard his music when i was about 6-8 &loved him since. I went to c Time & Heathcliff & various concerts right up to & incl the Reunion concert. As gd as when i seen him at a gig where i lived & my 17th b'day . Great singer & The Shads also.

Saw Cliff and the Shadows in 1960 or 61 first time he came to 🇿🇦 South Africa .. will never forget the opening Shazam and then segue into Move it .. unforgettable time for me at the start of a 50 year career in entertainment. I wonder how many other kids they’ve inspired over the years. And this is such a beautifully rehearsed and staged showcase of their consummate talent and hard work. Thanks for treating us to this video.❤

Have seen Sir Cliff in concert 4 times over the years. He is incredible to see and his voice is just amazing to listen to. He never missed a note or beat and has maintained his voice over time..A legend for sure. Love this guy!!
Sorry but he has missed a note and a few lyrics. I remember one concert where he missed the line and made the whole group go back and start again!

I went through my teenage years listening to Cliff and the Shadows among other great rock and roll artists. My friends thought I was weird because my teenage years were in the 80s. Still my favourite.
My brother and I played rock and roll, pop, and later jazz. We played with a number of cover groups from ‘64 to the ‘90’s. One of the biggest gigs we ever played was because of Cliff Richards. We were asked to audition for a convention and we had to do a Cliff Richards song for the audition. We made the audition and got a lot of exposure by doing the convention. Thanks Cliff! You are one the top artists of all time!!!
