So great seeing a couple that REALLY loves each other!!
Oooooooh! This sounds so tasty! My Chicken Salad is chicken, chopped apples, cranberries, chopped celery, and mayo.
Thanks for sharing
Love apples and grapes in mine.
That zesting tip is such a game changer! Anytime a recipe calls for lemon or lime I always add zest, it makes such a difference! You won’t be disappointed 😎
My wife and I just had your “ensalada de pollo”!!!…It was delicious and we have enough for later…Super easy to make…Thanks for your recipe…
Chicken salad is delicious! ❤
Plenty of chopped celery, onion, some shredded carrot, mayo/mustard, chopped jalapeño, celery seed or salt [take note of salt], salt n pepper... Delicious!...
ps: what's also nice, including the above ingredients, is some Sun brand Madras curry powder, [very light amount), and a few raisins or dried currents/craisins... 🤤❤
Another delicious flavor as a compliment to the chicken salad [no curry] is dried or fresh tarragon. 🤌😋 (this also marries very well with egg salad)
The only limit is ones own imagination!! ❤🌻👍
Just saw this last night and had to make it today. Didn’t have energy to cook the potato but did everything else from my wheelchair. Absolutely delicious! My son and I had the tostada version and I added homemade salsa on top with jalapeños. Definitely a new favorite. Thanks for sharing!
Hi!!! I made this for my family last night… I followed it to the T 😅… it was a success!! They loved it 🎉- thank you so much!! Please keep up the great recipes- so looking forward to them - God bless you and your loved ones ❤
Yay! happy you loved it.
You guys are so cute!🤩 I love watching you!!😍Also your food always looks so delicious! I’ve never heard of adding cabbage/potatoes to chicken salad but it looks so yummy I’m definitely gonna try😋
❤mmmmm que rico deliciosa ensalada mi favorita
Si ma, deliciosa!
This does look FABULOUS❤✨😋
WOW..this seems so delicious and great idea for sandwiches, maybe I'll try using with flour wraps for a sandwich.
Sounds lovely!
❤yummy!! Provecho. I’ve never had it with the cheese. I’ll have to try that.
I've never had chicken salad like this and I'm excited to try it❤❤❤
Looks delicious 😋😋
I always go to a person's newest video to ask a question, so here I am. I figure it helps your channel.
OKay, as I watch your videos I keep thinking, I should buy a comal one of these days. Tonight I was looking at them and realized that I really don't know what makes a good one, or even what size I should get. SO I came and searched your channel and well, I didn't find anything. SO I am asking for your recommendations. Thanks!
This looks fantastic! Great video and presentation. I live alone and not sure I could create this small enough to utilize! 😊 However kids and grandkids visiting would be awesome .
God bless all here.❤❤❤❤
Muy rico se mira eso😋😋
Ooo i love chicken sal, def gonna try!
I love chinken over beef ❤❤
Dear Rossana and Nelson,
Upon viewing this recipe, I must express that it has piqued my appetite significantly 🤤 While it presents itself with an air of simplicity, I am confident that it offers a complex tapestry of flavors awaiting exploration.
For sure! its so good! ☺️
Gracias 🙏 for sharing this recipe perfect for the coming summer days and yours is totally different from the white people traditional style…Saludos you guys have a blessed day!!!!👋😃👋
He loves his snacks 😂. Where did you get those beautiful jalapeños?
Always whipping up something looking good, either on a grill on the ranchito,or back at the casa🎉
You got that right!
Keep the skin on the carrots for the same reason you kept them on the taters.
You have an excellent cutting technique with your fingers retracted and the blade resting against your knuckles. I have still not mastered that. Thank you for the reminder to work on that skill.
I'm all for extra fiber and nutrients, but carrot skin is too bitter for me and not pleasant. I always keep the skin on potatoes (but I always remove all the eyes, which again, are very bitter.)
Never done many attempts of making chicken salads. One time I was given a package of like 12 cans of tinned chicken. In that case i DID do some testing using various spices. The best combo I came up with was a cumin, habenero sauce, scallion mix 😊
Oh wow! mixing it up in the kitchen.
Not something I like, but it looks amazing
Looks fabulous and I'm sure taste the same. However, I will omit
the green peas. Thanks
Sounds great! do you! ☺️
Dang! These things are mountainous!!! But you added not one, but two spicy ingredients.. OUCH!!! Hot sauce and Jalapenos?!?!?! Very brave!!! lol Good to see you two, once again..
I'm using this habenero sauce lately. No vinegar but a lot of carrot. Works so well with the bright taste of the pepper
I know, Nelson tends to have less spicy food than I do.
Great❣️❣️
In my country we have a very similar recipe that is called boeuf salad it is pretty much the same thing apart that we add pickled gergkins and pickled red peppers finely diced other than that is pretty much the same thing
If I could of I would marry you lol. A woman that knows her way around the kitchen is a blessing! Your husband is very fortunate. 😊
I’m going to make this without mustard. I think it will be delicious.
Go for it! 😊
Weird, I thought I posted something just a few moments ago. Anyway. No one has any information on comals. No one. I have looked. Sure there is a few ads, but I'd like to know your thoughts on what makes a good one.
Thanks... again perhaps. lol
I like tostadas but hate how messy they are to eat. Sutff is always falling off every bite and the toppings touch your upper lip and face/cheek every bite.
cotija cheese way too salty I left that out. ;)
Maybe make it without any other added salt, try to get at least some cotija flavor in it. It may be some brands are saltier than others. Cotija brings a lot of great umami flavor into a dish, similar to parmesan.
