  • Teak may be young, but I can see such a bright future ahead of him. At only 19 years old, his tool setup rivals many seasoned techs in the field. He took full advantage of his SEP discounts and never looked back. I love these tours because these are the guys that will be paving the industry for the next 30 or 40 years. Teak, thank you so much for inviting me out! If you enjoyed the tour Teak took us on, give this video a Like!

Snap on line wrenches are the best on the market. They are thick, heavy and do not flex or spread. My sets are around 45 years old and have never let me down.
Thanks for the video brother. I am enjoying your tool box tours. My first video was the man with the tank setting in the shop.
Edit to add: Matco, while it is rebranded tools, they do have many tools built to their specs. Some are only available through a Matco dealer. I have a few Matco tools that are not available anywhere else. The Mac RBRT was only available through the Mac dealer, although they didn't make them. Now that the Mac contract has expired Grip edge (original manufacturer) is offering them under their name.

I bet he not using Google and CZcams for information. Having the correct service information is a huge advantage over DIY and it’s not free. You won’t have time to fool with google or watch videos that leave out very important info.

The student program is extremely good. You can get the snap on set for almost the same price as Carlyle on it. Probably not as good but still it’s like half price

Man, even these “student programs” are a racket for these traveling tool thieves! Looks like he got ‘sold’ on his “student program” thinking it’s a “deal” 😂 but he does have a sweet setup even if he’s paying $20/week for life - the meme where the snap on salesman is at the mechanics funeral with his family, they’re all in black as the passed mechanic gets lowered into the ground and the snap on guy standing in the background with his clipboard and CC swiping machine like “hey, got anything for me this week?!?”

It is painful watching all of these and seeing how many people are out there just getting HOUSED by the snap on truck. I'm sorry your skilled trade makes you guys pay tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Its only a problem if you buy new not on promo off truck. If your smart you can pretty easily break even if not profit selling them later.
