    This is exactly what am experiencing on my 2016 C300. Even my car mechanic couldn't figure out why the fuel smell is happening occasionally. Thank you!

    What was the part name / number for the redesigned updated hose ?

      or you can also get 2740700181 .
      It should cost about $15 dollars from the dealer.

    Having a bad line, will it cause low performance from the engine?

      Depends on the severity of the leak. A considerable leak can lead to loss of fuel pressure which can impact system performance.
