My last grandparent, my grandfather passed this year. First generation Italian. Served in WWII. Worked until he was 93 years old. We kept him as safe as we could during covid but he had a slip n fall that caused a break. Had to go to the hospital n rehab. Got Covid within days. RIP James J. Barber II. You were the definition of a gentleman ❤️
Wow so many people who were larger-than-life and seemed to make the world go round when I was growing up in the 90s. Seeing them pass away feels like the death of my childhood and a whole era. Feels like losing a friend.
What a line up of folks most of us know of. We hear that these people have gone and by the end of the we year oohh we realise who's Gone. Many are not well known,but known in other countries. Westwood and Pele last,Fashionably late. RIP them all and their Contrabution to our entertainment.🙏💐🌄
You watch these things when you're a kid and it's just a bunch of old faces that you've never seen and have no idea who they are until the years go by and you watch it and the faces start to become recognizable until one day you watch it and you now know every face on the list and every name on the list. I have lost some very close child hood friends in the last 2 years. It happens a lot faster than you realize. So I suggest telling those far and near that you care and love them. The WW2 veteran who died was the Candy Bomber, it all started with him sharing a stick of gum through a chain link fence with some German children, then I want to remember those who were forced to die by being murdered, Rest In Sweet Heavenly Peace to the popular, the unknown and to each and everyone that lost a spouse, parent, child or friend in 2022.

Watching this gave me a different perspective on life… Some I did not know they even passed away… The unknown is the worst feeling, Growing up you think ur untouchable and that you only die when your old… The reality is that you can die in a blink of an eye…
Michelle, I've watched 3 of these memoriams tonight on U-Tube, and as I looked at them I thought about how fleeting life is. I just turned 73 and I grew up watching some of the people who died this year, like Tony Dow on Leave it to Beaver. I remember those days so well and most of the time my age boggles my mind because it seems like yesterday I was a young girl. I picture all my old school friends as young and then I remember they're now my age. It really does give you a new perspective on life and how tomorrow may never come for you, so we need to cherish each day we have.
I lost my dad and my husband this year as well. I'm not the only one to feel loss this year. Here's praying 2023 is better for us all

All the memoriam tributes the I have seen have included Estelle Harris who played George Costanza's mom on Seinfield, but only one other one included Liz Sheridan, who played Jerry's mom on the show. She is the only one that I noticed that wasn't included in yours.
I also thought that was an odd omission....
So many AMAZING people have passed this year. So talented in their own right. Sadly the year isn't quite over yet ...Rest In Peace ...

We all die, but it's sad to see those we grew up watching die. Peace and love to all their familes.
So many amazing talented people. So many I grew up too. I am now reaching this stage. Hard for me to believe but yes. I'm older than some here. I have lost some very close child hood friends in the last 2 years. It happens a lot faster than you realize. So I suggest telling those far and near that you care and love them. The people close to me all know that they are special and loved.
Oh my uncle Bob passed as well.
Rest in paradise 🙏 he left behind an ex wife, 2 kids, 1 son in law and 2 grandkids.
Please don't forget Sonya Eddy who played Epiphany Johnson on General Hospital for many years and several movies and TV shows she was 55 years old and will truly be missed on General Hospital

The WW2 veteran who died was the Candy Bomber, it all started with him sharing a stick of gum through a chain link fence with some German children, then I want to remember those who were forced to die by being murdered, Rest In Sweet Heavenly Peace to the popular, the unknown and to each and everyone that lost a spouse, parent, child or friend in 2022.

Watching this gave me a different perspective on life… Some I did not know they even passed away… The unknown is the worst feeling, Growing up you think ur untouchable and that you only die when your old… The reality is that you can die in a blink of an eye…
Michelle, I've watched 3 of these memoriams tonight on U-Tube, and as I looked at them I thought about how fleeting life is. I just turned 73 and I grew up watching some of the people who died this year, like Tony Dow on Leave it to Beaver. I remember those days so well and most of the time my age boggles my mind because it seems like yesterday I was a young girl. I picture all my old school friends as young and then I remember they're now my age. It really does give you a new perspective on life and how tomorrow may never come for you, so we need to cherish each day we have.
2022 was terrible! so many amazing souls passed on... not too late to tell someone you love them... 🙏
Roger E Mosley and Anita Pointer were missed. I still mourn dear sweet Olivia Newton-John all these months later.
