Well said. I feel Khabib has been misunderstood in a lot of these press conferences and the media has a big part in all of it. It's a shame people turn so quickly on someone. Maybe because Khabib was so dominant and he left on top. I just wish people wouldn't be so blinded by hate.
Khabib was special. Here's a guy who came from nothing and worked his entire life mastering his craft. He wasn't out partying and doing drugs, he was training to be the best in the world. He comes into the UFC, runs through the hardest division in the sport, beats the biggest name in MMA history, defends his belt multiple times again killers and walks off into the sunset. Undefeated undisputed.

Context is important: A reporter questioned Khabib's theory that a fighter has only one peak by mentioning Aldo's win against Munhoz. I'm sorry, I love Khabib he's one of the GOATs but its weird how sensitive he is while still talking shit. Its like Josh saying to the ring card girls not to be sensitive about what he said. He's the same guy that told an aspiring female fighter to practice by finishing her husband in front of an entire stadium full of people, completely embarrassing and belittling her. I get he has cultural norms that he follows but why is he the only one that is able to vocalize his opinion and anytime someone disagrees they need to stop being sensitive and respect his culture? @@truthseeker96 I'm not a snowflake at all but it literally is sexism. In his culture married women can't be shown on video, they have to cover all of their extremities in public. Why? Because supposedly men are weak to the flesh and can't control themselves. How is that not sexism when women are treated differently? Women don't work in Dagestan and his response to the aspiring female fan was not humorous when he's being serious because he doesn't think women should be fighters. And you say he was justified in saying ring card girls are useless, but why are they useless? They are pretty and nice to look at. Why isn't that enough to justify their involvement? At the end of the day, why are there commentators? It's a production that is supposed to entertain the fans that's all it is. I don't think Khabib is a morally bad person, but I do know that his views on the world are far different then what is acceptable in the west, and yet he is allowed to criticize my "culture" but if you criticize his then you are a snowflake.
