Dragon Ball Kai coming to America was honestly the best time for me since it allowed me to be introduced to dragon ball. I only had heard of it for the first time that year by a friend but knew nothing about it until it came out on Nicktoons
Me too. I used to watch it on Nicktoons and stayed up to date each week honestly felt like the same experience the 90's kids had at the time tbh since we still had to wait each week for a new episode

It would have been 2011 but I distinctly remember seeing Raging Blast 2 in a shop (not even a proper game shop just a normal shop that happened to sell games) and being intrigued by the big red guy on the front. I bought the game and when I booted it up for the first time, I fell in love with Battle of Omega, the games opening theme. The game itself is good, but not great. The story mode being battles with no actual cutscenes sucked. It was cool to play as Coolers henchmen, Android 14 and 15, Tarble and Hatchiyack though. Kinda stupid that they didn’t dub Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyan which means that it and Episode of Bardock‘s only English dubs are the Team Four Star specials.
Calling Raging Blast 2 underwhelmings atrocious
