You should definitely watch the MMA 2018 as well. Jimin won an award from The Cultural Preservation Society for his solo dance.
Also MAMA 2020. It's hands down thé best performance of Life Goes On. They even created a freakin hologram of Suga so that he could perform with them! 🤯

Not only were they MJ moves but Jimin's outfit is based on one of his plus other hints. So yeah in the dynamite MV there are MJ moves and inspiration.

Suga had shoulder surgery November 3, 2020 and had not yet recovered. He missed a lot of performances. I always appreciated that BTS always left his part open.
You should watch the "Black Swan" mv, it's gorgeous. The song is about the fear of losing your passion, and the mv is inspired by the movie "Black Swan".
There's also an "art film". It opens with a quote from American dancer Martha Graham, "A dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is more painful"
Jimin is wearing the jacket that Michael Jackson had, it's cool and Jimin did a Michael Jackson dance, oh my God Jimin is so cool

Dynamite was like a homage to Michael Jackson, from the choreo to Hobi's hat, white stripe on Jimin's slacks and the white band..I read that Taj Jackson acknowledged BTS for remembering his uncle in Dynamite.
Yes, Taj tweeted praise for this homage! He's also tweeted a few other in support of BTS, including when BTS broke a Billboard record previously held by MJ and he said his uncle would have been the first to wish them congratulations. He's so sweet!

Jimin's growls can cause addiction
In case you missed it, it's black swan. They're swans, they're performing at a lake in a forest. And their ending position is of a black swan. I found it really cool!

I’m so in love with Jungkook’s rich and heavenly voice so much. he slays everything. His beautiful adlibs and harmonisation on life goes on, his insane and stable high notes and vocals.

If you like Jimins grit check out BTS jimins growling he’s great at it and I think you’ll like it a lot he can go pretty hard :)!!! And pls react to their song disease pls pls pls!! It’s similar to telepathy but with cooler and crazier vocals!!
Jungkook's bridge in ON is just so iconic, it shocks me everytime! His voice is amazing, he hit a freaking F5 in full voice, a flat out flex according to professional musicians. Incredible. And Jungkook is one of the most stable singers in the industry, no joke, he is known for being the most stable singing while dancing very hard choreography. Dude has three sets of lungs or something, he's that amazing. Even vocal experts in Korea were shocked at his stability when singing, not to mention his perfect pitch!

Yes, 2018 MMA BTS performance was amazing~ Imagine if BTS can go all out at the Grammys or BBMAs.. they wouldn't be able to handle it. Plus they need a bigger stage.
Life Goes On was directed by Jungkook. 2020 GAYO DAEJEON Suga was a snowman when they performed Life Goes On and Dynamite
Dynamite has always had a lot of tribute moments in it to MJ...the MV also. In the lyrics they mention his album (Off The Wall) and do several MJ dance moves. In this performance, Jimin's outfit especially reminds me of MJ. After the original MV came out, MJ's nephew thanked BTS for all their nods to his uncle.
Jhope is wearing a 1 piece velvet purple suit. Its amazing.

BTS performance in award shows are awesome to behold! They will not settle for just singing and dancing, they will always add something extra. I would love to see you react to MAMA 2016, Jimin dancing blindfolded is something I will never get over! He is amazing! Please check it out!!! 💜💜💜
You should definitely check out all their MAMA and MMA performances from 2016 and up. 2018 is a GREAT year. There were two location for MAMA that year and BTS was invited and performed at both of them. Also, if you want to see a REALLY personal (and vulnerable, so please be nice) side to BTS, they gave a very famous speech at the 2018 when they won Artist of the Year again. Maybe it will make more sense, if you watch the hardships video first and maybe the earlier stages from MAMA and MMA - it gives you more content to understand the impact.

Hey Cody ! Thank you for your reactions ! I love how you catch all those adlibs , background vocals and harmonies which most people miss . You really really need to check out JK's 'My Time ' . It is basically Jungkook flexing his vocals for 4 mins straight . It has a really unique flow and absolutely mind-blowing adlibs , runs and background vocals . Do give it a listen for sure . You should really listen to Mikrokosmos!! It is so pretty and it really showcases their voices! I recommend the performance on the tonight show with Jimmy Fallon, they blend their voices so beautifully, J-hope sings and there are some crazy high notes!

You NEED to watch MAMA 2020. ITS AMAJINNNN! YOU GONNA BE BLOWNN AWAY IM TELLING U! THE SCALE IS...🤯 (live band....hm...kinda😏)its sad that fans werent there and it was online but because of that they did what they couldnt do if it was live. Watch itt🤩🤯also all other MMA AND MAMA performances from other years because they are a hole other experiance!
Agree for MAMA and MMA but they can be strict. MMA is not that bad, but MAMA will probably be blocked unless you modify the video. Mirror/flip it, cover logo's. Blur or fade it. Or write over the video. It helps to pause. A LOT. Every 20 seconds or so.
BTW if you look up James Corden Carpool with BTS - you will see how Baby Mochi and Papa Mochi came about. Also near the end of that video James takes them to his GYM and they do a spontaneous work. Holy moly - be still my heart. 💜💜

The scene on the steps in the intro to ON mirrors a scene in the video for one of their early releases "NO". They have done this more than once replying to their older work in newer songs.
Grammys? MTV? Billboard?? Pfft! Nothing can compare to BTS performances to MMA/MNET music awards show. Unreal! Nothing can compare how grand and incomparable performances they always given to us. Most especially the stage set up. That’s our boys and bighit.
BTW, I’d like to recommend the IDOL by BTS MMA 2018 live performance. It was incredible!! Trust me!

If you want to watch a live performance where they blend their voices the way you like, I suggest their MTV Unplugged performance. You've already watched Fix You, but they also did Telepathy, Blue & Grey, Life Goes On, and Dynamite. It was so, so good. I think you might have to watch on Patreon, because it would get blocked on YT.
Yeah, Korean award shows are nothing like US, Canadian or British ones. They are all mostly in December and January, and they are kind of like festivals. The special performances and new dance breaks are highly anticipated by the fans every year. Usually, the more popular/older bands get more air time, and the newer ones get a bit less.
They had a live performance of dynamite with a band. (Aside from Tiny desk concert)

I always get chills every time I watched this, to think that they did this during pandemic and lock downs, these has been army's therapy. It did gave a lot of strength to a lot people at that time that it seems hopeless, people lost loved ones. BTS going through hard times as well but Life Goes On is the best message they imparted to everyone .....

If you love them harmonizing, you'll die when you hear 'your eyes tell' live performance XD they first performed it in Japan, the background is also so beautiful. When I first heard it.... it was like realizing all over again that their voices are heaven.
BTS are always 7! Very rarely do they ever sing for a missing member! There’s been a few times they’ve sang for each other but not many!

The 'Dynamite' dance brake was so good. 'Dynamite' is basically a Michael Jackson tribute and they did him right.
Everything was just 👌 but what stood out for me was Jimin in Black Swan and Jhope in Dynamite dance break.

You should definitely react to 2020 MMA ON performance!! It's insaneee. And also IDOL at the 2018 MMA! MMA is Melon Music Awards. All their MMA and MAMA performances are great tho , you should binge them lol! The other ones are shorter than this one.
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. So glad u saw this. I loved this. They killed it. Dude, this was an online concert!!! They gave us this last year because their tour was canceled. We had to stay awake to watch this. It was so hard. But, very fun. Yes, there was water in the Black Swan performance. Army was stunned. Twt was going wild after we saw this online. The ON performance pays homage to their song N.O. which I think is so cool. I love how they keep connecting their songs to each other. They always reflect upon the past. I was thinking that I don't think u heard LGO yet. lol. U have to watch the MV for it pls. There are 3 or 4 but u can watch the 1st one. =0p This is my fav LGO performance. I adore this stage!!!it's a house and they are in different rooms. Brilliant staging as always. Life Goes On (their title track from the latest album BE). It has a beautiful music video, which was directed by the youngest member, Jungkook. With this whole album and especially title track Life Goes On BTS wanted to show everyone how they have been living their lives during the pandemic. Some scenes were also shot in their dorm, where they still all live together (even if most of them have their own apartments separately). Hobi is a sub vocal. He sings a lot in the background. He also is an amazing rapper. The Dynamite dance break had us going wild again on Twt. I was stunned. This was amazing! FYI, You can buy an Army Bomb on Amazon or Weverse. First of all this wasn't a live perf that was recorded due to Covid pandemic
Second, I beg every one making reacts videos to react to the BTS perf but in "BTS fancam" or "BTS focus", you'll see the whole picture and the amazing effort they make as a group, and I swear that your mind will be blown up
