Hi,
I've recently installed a smart switch without neutral wire. To make it work properly I also installed a capacitor to my light just the same way displayed in this video. But since then I am hearing a buzzing noise from the capacitor. The capacitor I used was provided with the smart switch so I assume it should be compatible?
I tried different bulbs and even without the bulb I am still hearing the noise.
Some people say having slight buzzing/humming noise from capacitor is normal, but I can hear it from another room!
Anyone had same issue and found a solution for it?
Have you tried to change other new capacitor?
Can you add the capacitor to the switch instead of the light?

exactly what am curious about when i have 1 switch link to 2 lights....
You will want to install the cap as close to your light fixture as possible to be most effective… would not recommend installing at the switch. Perhaps at the wire nuts immediately before the light fixture.
You would want one cap per light fixture if you have multiple.
@@Johnomosquito10 I tried connecting as you said. Theists continue to flicker. Although, they have a different flicker rate.
@@supasye did you install one capacitor per light fixture?
If so, it is possible that you may need a capacitor with a higher capacitance to fix the flicker.
