Hi -- I'm sure you've figured this out by now, but you should really turn the knob counter-clockwise to loosen before you unlock. Also, if you put the tofu on the tray and lower it (and out) with the handles, you won't have any issues. Thanks.
Thank you this is my first tofu press and I threw out the instructions probably thinking I could look it up online. Don’t wanna break the tofu ty. Gonna try substituting meat for tofu in Bibimbap for my vegetarian family members. I like tofu too. Not a vegetarian personally but I lived in Asia and we ate a lot of tofu there, among other things. I’ll eat anything as long as it’s yummy
