Good video, important topic that never really gets talked about. I would only add that you are much more likely to get a fold in the front if you attach at the back first and vice versa. I also recommend not just putting the towel on and patting, but putting the towel on, hold it firm in the middle and with pressure run your other hand from the center to the edges multiple times. Done right it doesn’t hurt the unit at all and makes for a better attachment and less chance of wrinkles

I have an old unit that i haven't been wearing for a couple of months and i was thinking of giving it a rebirth like soaking it into water with shampoo overnight then later style it. Yea, don’t get me wrong, Toppik has really held me over for the last few years, but my hair has thinned where I find I’m using waay more Toppik than hair and it’s just time to graduate to a system.

Glad you went over this topic Curtis. I was just about to email you about how to fix my wrinkles in my lace. I like your advise but I was also thinking about just using a regular iron and ironing the lace with a wet towl inbetween the lace and iron. Do you think this would work?

@@DerClaudius I can't remember the exact date of this post, however it says 2 years ago. If that's correct, it would have been before the virus. The way things have been going with manufacturing throughout the last year and a half, I wish I had ordered a multi year supply. It's more a matter of quantity over quality when taking about back-ups in case of emergency.
Curtis, when I sleep, I wake up and the back of my unit crinkles. Yesterday it was real bad and I had to remove the unit. What would you recommend I do about this because it only happens when I sleep in the back of the unit.
Hi Gary. Not knowing exactly what things your using. Its hard to say. With my invisiskin product and the tape that we offer, this does not happen. Unless its been on too long and its time to do a redo anyways

Seems like the area was not 100% clean from contamination, wrong tape for you, tape has failed due to age. Try some different tapes and make 1000% sure the area is clean

Hey, if the unit is cut the to template it will fit. Within 1-2 mm typically.
You can measure your affected area. For a stock unit the max is 8 wide by 10 long. Hope that helps!
