It's incredible how foreshadowing these lyrics were for Britney.

I appreciate that Jeffrey really got into the spirit of it, dancing like a crooner of the time would, and the ladies' little gestures (especially the last ones at the end). It really gives that finishing touch and nicely completes the vibe that the song style starts, and the set and costume design continues.
It's like a feast for your ears and eyes at the same time.

Any thought given to the lyrics, or this version of ‘Lucky’, would probably have been considered as just ‘a sad, but danceable ballad’! Great times…sweet memories! 👍
I didn't expect this to be this damn good. Jeffrey James absolutely killed it. I'm gonna have to try singing this myself. The arrangement is incredible.
My grandma loved this song. Used to play JJ's record all the time in my childhood. I like Britney's modern cover, but the original ballad will always be my fave version.

That 50's/60's doo-wop will do that. Also, the original is only devastating because of Britney Spears' fall from grace for most of the 2000s.
