I’m so glad you guys made this video! I love your channel and how honest you guys are. I’ve been struggling navigating the integrity world as a new collector who missed out on the w club this year, but def signing up next year! I started my own channel and I can’t wait to review some Poppies!!!
I signed up only because this is the cheapest way to get these dolls and I wanted the Lukas Maverick doll. Some members buy the dolls then sell it 10x the original price on ebay or the secondary market. SHAMELESS!!!
It is definitely the cheapest way and the easiest way! A lot of these dolls sell for so much in the secondary market :( and isn't Lukas so handsome? He looks like one of the guys on those romance novels lol.
It's called an investment
I am looking at joining this year, to see what else is offered, but I have never had a membership and I have been able to get all the dolls I do want using a local official dealer. I think if you want to start out slower, because they do come out with a lot of dolls and they aren't cheap, finding a local official dealer is the best option. I collected vintage Barbie (1959-1975), a few newer collector Barbies and Silkstones. A few years ago I had the realization there wasn't many vintage Barbie pieces I didn't own and Barbies upper lines have become junkier. I was at my local dealer where I saw the East 59th collection, I bought the entire first year, since then I have bought all the East 59th and have purchased most of the Poppy Parker line for the last few years. I was able to do this by just using a local dealer, now I do believe my local dealer is considered one of their top dealers, so she does get a lot of first picks I think. I was able to buy convention exclusives and all kinds of members only dolls through her at cost. I will say, these dolls aren't like collecting Barbie, you need a budget for them... but the quality is worlds away from Barbies current lines, which is sad since she really feels like the original fashion doll that started everything. Thank you for the information on the club, I missed last year the window... now I just have to catch the window this year, I am checking everyday, because I think their email must go to "junk" and I am interested in the forums.

First you are both amazing! I just signed up for the W Club and I’m very excited about it. I’m brand new to collecting but these dolls really speak to me and I’m especially obsessed with Poppy! I watched your video about the Luxe Life convention and It sounds great but I think they should have more workshops and seminars that are free maybe lead by people like you, SureshNYC, The Doll Circle where they make you Brand Ambassadors and you can either share your collections or advice about the care of dolls, displaying them etc. It seems Integrity has a captive audience so anyone going to the convention is going to buy multiple dolls so why make people spend money on a lunch that they could put towards adding to their collection? Anyway thanks for all this great info and maybe I’ll see you in Baltimore!
Thank you for your kind words! Some of the luncheons are optional but you do usually get a meal and a free doll with your purchase of that luncheon. So in a way you are just paying for the free doll you are getting. I think it's a pretty good deal regardless! And we hope to see you in Baltimore too! :)

So there is more than 5 of the exclusive w club dolls. Can you buy them all or just 5?
There are 5 exclusive offerings. Though they did give us two dolls as one offering so in total we got 6 exclusive dolls. You can buy one of each as part of your membership.

Do you think it is worth it for non US buyers?
Great question! I think it boils down to your preference and finances. I know that shipping from the US is not cheap to other countries. So it depends on the country. But if you feel like there's a particular doll or doll line you are interested in, I think it's worth paying a bit more in shipping and taxes. It definitely beats buying that doll at a later date on eBay for an inflated price on top of the high shipping price! So it depends on how invested you are in Integrity Toys products and you have the finances for buying their products. I personally would! But I would be much more selective on what I buy and buy ones that I really want. Just being in the club is great, lovely community. -Sang

In the end i don't think i'll be able to get more than 4 dolls in a year, but i'm really excited for Poppy's 10th anniversary and i wonder if they'll do something special
Many years ago when Jason Wu started the company, or was it a little later that Isha came about and I couldn't get her. I only like Kyori and Isha. That's it. Then over time it became a denial thing. Then the male dolls came, but forgot when they were first introduced. Time flies so fast. Anyway I decided I wanted to purchase a male doll to make over. I want to create a rock n' roll look complete with a guitar. I studied Ken dolls on-line, Tonner dolls, and then this FR male doll was for sale and I have it on lay-away. I hope this one is a good one. (Hope he's not fat, I mean muscular, lol)

I'm signing up for my 3rd consecutive year - though I was a member in 2012 - and upgrading with Lukas and Vanessa. For me it's all about trying to make it to the con and seeing my friends there. As an adult collector that experience is something you can't really put into words, being among people your age that not only also like dolls but ones you can genuinely discuss collecting with. Plus the entire experience of things like the dinners is really fun.
I get that it isn't for everyone and even for me - as someone who really can't afford to grab everything either exclusives wise or at cons - I get that the price point in general is a lot but it can be a lot of fun and I'm glad to be there.
Nicely put! The con is a great way to meet up with friends and put faces on people you only know online. Good excuse to visit a new city too!
I think the club is worth it even to get one or two dolls or just to connect with people but we know $50 is still a lot of money. IT dolls isn't in everyone's budget.

I joined in 2017 solely to go to the con and meet friends I've had over 10 year pre FR so it was a lot more sentimental for me too. I stayed because even as I would pass dolls up it was nice to know about them/have the option to decide on things like the exclusives.

Thank you so much! Definitely too pricey for us to get every doll they offer. We usually pick and choose what we want. And yes, on their official website they do have a list of their official dealers. There's only a handful of official dealers so you're most likely going to order online for your dolls but you never know, we got really lucky on our end! IT also sells their exclusive dolls through their website and club as well.

I just started collecting Integrity. I've been collecting Silkstone for years, but I'm moving away from Mattel because their quality has gone *way* downhill, they don't treat collectors well, and they're ending the Silkstone line anyway. I'm super into East 59th Street. I've bought three in the last three weeks. Is the W Club worth it just for that one line? I know they don't sell out as fast as other IT lines, but some seem to have gone over well. I've read online that W Club members get first access to sales, as in discounts on dolls, is that true?
Hi there! East 59th Street doesn't have a huge presence in the W Club as the club doesn't usually offer a East 59th exclusice doll (the most recent one I remember was the "Pink Champagne" and that was a club lottery). But you do get first notice when a new East 59th doll collection is released so you can call/email your dealer before the general public. There are usually one or two East 59th dolls at the annual IT conventions. If they don't sell out to the attendees, W Club members can enter a lottery to win the right to purchase them. So it depends if it's worth it for you to spend $50 for the membership to get a chance of maybe 1 or 2 East 59th dolls and $25 coupon.
In Spain, I can not become a member since the customs taxes are abusive and the dolls cost twice as much. We need an official seller in Spain . Like your videos :)
Thank you so much for watching! That's a real bummer about custom taxes. Spain needs a IT dealer for sure! I hope one day IT will be large enough to accommodate all their international fans.
I guess there are some Europe dealers you could contact.. As @Toychat says, if you are member of the club, you will know when the dolls will be ready to pre-order and contact those dealers in there.
thank you very much Carlos, I will look at the European sellers and see if it is cheaper. I buy a lot for ebay and it pays a lot more, for example the last one I've looked at is Eden public adoration and they ask for $ 799, it's shameful.
But this is a great hobby for me, whereas it’s your life.
You guys are gems but I would like to see more pictures of the dolls and less of you. Or you with the dolls.
