After killing Scourge of the Sea for good with my main party, i completly switched to my other 4 severly underleveled members to make them at least usable for the next chapter of their respective stories. My reserve party was level 23 at that time and i was not going to start an available storychapter with a recommended level range of 35-39. It did not take a lot of grinding for Scourge to return with vengence as a random encounter to ruin my entire career.

Oh boy, this one. First heard it in the house east of Sai against the sword dude who you have to 1v1. Took like 4 or 5 attempts, but my Castti, at level 35ish managed to beat him up somehow.
This was the only boss from the game (appart from Galdera obviously) that almost had the chance to kill me. It had finished with all of my characters, but then Temenos revived with the passive ability and then revived all of the others. Truly epic lmao
I'm doing this to protect your ears, you'll thank me when you're old (jokes aside I know and feel bad about it but starting over would take eons and I REALLY can't be bothered, the audio recording took dozens of hours)
This boss theme really sounds like it fits OT1 more than this game, with the OT1-style breakdown at 0:40 as well as throughout the song. This motif does not take place as heavily in Critical Clashes, and it was found much more commonly in the first game's boss musics.
This song is amazing. It paints a perfect picture of a near unwinnable battle. Nearly every instrument comes across as an overwhelming force descending upon you. There is but a single moment in the song, where the electric guitar kicks in, and implies a victorious climb in it's chord progression. Though even that turns against it's melody and plummets into a melody that implies a fall.
Epic theme. First time I heard this was against Karma. It was rough with my 29 Throné but I always got excited to try again with this banger in the background.
First time I heard this was just after Hikari 2 -- THAT one sidequest. Me: Ok, this should be a little harder than the guy I just fought, no big deal. *battle start* *this song starts playing* Me: oh f--- Enemy: *multi-hit wind attack* Hikari: I'm sorry my friends...
Seem a bit too hardcore/serious for dungeon battles with no plot relevance, IMO. Even if Cthulhu obliterated me the first time when I didn’t take it seriously. I think this played for Arcanette, though?
The intensity honestly added to the charm for me. From what Ive seen and read, the first time you hear it you tend to get smoked (myself included). That foreboding atmosphere made for a very memorable experience imo.
@@TheSt0veYeah that's what I found odd about this guy's comment. You're figthing something that was never meant to be found regularly in the game and for the most part is almost always stronger than your antagonist. Reminds me of Smash Bros Brawl

Dunno if it's the same comoposer, but Yasunori Nishiki did the One Winged Angel remix for Remake. He could've contributed with other songs
