Ayo T is good at this podcast/content thing. Good transitions, outline and timing.
Meanwhile, I don’t know why I was laughing about smith’s opinion. Seems like he likes the turmoils in the NFFbecause he saw it coming 😅

Coaching is different from playing football.. You can't turn a cow into a horse. Good luck to Finidi. We love him as a player, not as a coach 👏

Finidi failed because he wasn't duly appointed as Super Eagles head coach. He got the job because Amaju Pinnick used his influence to ensure he was selected. Emmanuel Amunike has better qualifications. Why is he not part of the discussion? This is the problem with our country. Until we start doing things in an equitable and just manner, we will continue to fail. A foreign coach will not solve the problem. The NFF itself is broken. The kind of people running it is evident when you look at the state of our domestic league. They alway hire coacges they can control. Amaju Pinnick said Finidi was humble, and that was his reason for picking him. How far now? We are our own nemesis. Injustice can never bear hood fruit. This is not the first time something like this has happened. I have already prepared myself for the eventuality of us not qualifying for the World Cup. Thank God we have Super Falcons. I feel sorry for the Super Eagles players. Our problem is management. Everything was stacked up against them, including the Jagaban national anthem. It all contributed to low morale. I grew up singing that anthem. I remember when it was changed and why. The whole country was unanimous. I remember that even Fela Kuti was among those selected to come up with a new anthem. Now, this ignoble individual decides to change it without the consent of the citizens. Even the military regimes showed some degree of sensitivity to public opinion and diversity. Under the military, governors were not selected on the basis of ethnicity or religion. Nigeria was much more cohesive. The players did not get adequate preparation because of the labor strike. Till now, the APC government is playing around with the welfare of citizens. They want to buy new aircraft for the president and his vice. For what? New aircraft was purchased by Buhari. They spent 21 billion naira on a new mansion for the vice president. Maybe it's time we put football aside.

Where on earth do you evaluate a coach based on only two games? Westerhof, the Eagles' most successful coach, lost his first two games. Even Arteta, despite the money spent, has not delivered. Please you guys should respect finidi, same qualifier Peserio drew three games.

He beat Ghana ( a ten man team may be more energised than 11) , so win is win. He drew against S/ A that will drew with in Afcon and we played better than Afcon...so Smith is wrong on the rating..the only disappointing thing is not turning around the match against Benin. Finidi can do well but the timing is wrong.

Does Peseiro have a job now😅
So it’s Herve renard they’re after $100k plus salary, which Peseiro was requesting for will eventually be churned out 😅

      Forget Amunike
If he Amunike is good enough as a coach let him pick up a coaching job in the npfl or somewhere else rather than waiting in the wings for opportunity to coach super eagles.
You can tell me you are good and technically sound as a coach and you haven’t got a kid for over four or five years ago now.

@@OluyimideDabi this same Amunike discovered the likes of VO, chukwueze and the likes who are currently playing at the moment for the SE guided them to the u17 championship and he can equally earn much respect from the players than what finidi got my take is if nff should have tried an indiginous coach Amunike was best bait instead of finidi.

I said it earlier that our players are not committed as in they don’t give it all when playing for the country. You and I can see that in them no agility and intensity in the way they approach games
Also they are just average players and they get carried away with little success and became big boys

Ayo is just been diplomatic, it was an abysmal job , total failure. How could a team that was second in Afcon few weeks ago to this.
He came in a decided to fix what is not broken , talking about captaincy , diaspora born and local players. All their agenda back fired on them .

Finidi's appointment was rather premature. Amunike should have been assigned the position....SMH
