Hurrem's life turns into a nightmare because of the spell on her. She wants to put and end to it. She starts to follow Fahriye whom she thinks that she is a traitor. Meanwhile, Fahriye gets an order from Sultana Sah to kill somebody in harem. As Fahriye takes an action, she sees something that will turn everything upside-down.
Sultana Sah feels disturbed because of Hurrem's power in harem. She plays her first card to take over the harem and Hurrem takes a major blow. Meanwhile, Hatice learns that Ibrahim's belongings will be sold in auction. She draws all attention towards herself when she wants buy them all.
In the mean time in Manisa, things start to get messy. Prince Mustafa gives money to the soldiers coming back from the campaign.
Suleiman doesn't get pleased with the news he receives. Is his son dreaming of the throne? Malkocoglu understands that Rustem has written the letter to Mihrimah as if it's him. Mihrimah builds hopes again. She expects him to requite her love which continues since her childhood. Bali Bey finally responds Mihrimah in the way she wants.
As Hurrem takes a major blow in harem, Rustem comes to the help of her. Rustem looks for the golds and finally gets the information he wants. He entraps Sultana Sah and Hatice with his fancy footwork.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

... Suleiman is the sultan. He IS the authority. Hurrem might manage the harem, but he is her ruler as well as her husband.
