      In my opinion no.
You can get a board with a much better VRM and a VRM heatsink for only around 10% more cost. This will significantly improve efficiency, reliability, and long-term upgrade options.
I guess these entry-level A620 motherboards would be fine for entry-level PCs and office PCs with a Ryzen 5 8500G or similar, but at the moment a PC with a Ryzen 5 5600G and an A520 motherboard would normally be cheaper, so there's no point.

Nice video. Informative. Sadly in our country currently only the a620m-e is cheap enough to consider a budget 7000 series build. Before there was b650m ds3h which I think is the best low budget b650m board

Thank you very much! I was wondering if the Asrock M.2 version wouldn't be overheating if I lift the 75° TJ Max limit, but I am positively surprised!
I put it on 85°, as the cooler I used (a Raijintek AIDOS II) cools the 7500F to 82° under full load ^^
And thanks Asrock for making such a good design!

Guys, please check my build below
I only use my pc to play only 2 games, Dota 2 and counter stirke 2 and i am on a very strict budget
    Mobo - Msi a620m
    Cpu- ryzen 5 7600
Gpu - rx 6600 8gb (dota 2 and cs 2 are cpu based games don't need heavy gpu)
    Cooler - stock (wraith)
Ram- ddr5 5200mhz 16*1 gb( will put another one 2-3 years down the line as my games don't need much ram, the cpu only supports 5200mhz)
    Ssd- kingston 500gb m.2 nvme gen 4
Cabinet - msi mag forge m100a mini atx (not sure if i am making the right choice should i go for mid tower? Please suggest )
    Psu- msi mag 650 bronze
Headphone- razor blackshark v2x usb 7.1
Mouse - razor deathadder essential wired
Keyboard - ant mk 1000 (need f1 and numbers)
    Screen - gigabyte 27fc curved 1080p 165hz

    • @ArtyomExplainsEng
      @ArtyomExplainsEng  Před 3 měsíci

Cpu supports up to 8000+ mhz ram, 5200 is guaranteed minimal speed. The sweet spot is 6000, get 2x16 6000 cl30 kit, 1*5200 is a joke, you will loose a lot of cpu performance. Get a mesh case with fans, no glass front with barely visible air holes, doesn't matter who makes it. Save on peripherals, put more money in pc hardware, ram to be exact.

No, it is too power hungry, only 6-8 core non-X. Get b650m with a radiator like asrock b650m pg lighting, gigabyte b650m k, asus b650m-k, msi pro b650m-p. Any of them would do great with any 8 core.

3 renowned motherboards making shameful VRms, where have we seen AM5 motherboards manufactured without at least not having a heatsink on the VRM's?!?!
    1st- Poor construction of VRM's.
2nd-Low number of phases for the processor (VRM).
3rd-Complete lack of a heat sink on the VRM's.
This is not low cost at all, this is a poor quality project as there are more modest projects that take the motherboard's VRM into account.
