    I have this Cadillac, I love it, it barely has no issues, I doubt if I will ever change to another car, if you are a lover of music , the sound system are speakers are the best. It is so comfortable.

    I just purchased a used 2012 SEX Luxury Edition that only has 18,121 original miles on it. It was literally owned by an older woman who kept it in the garage. My kids love the rear video screens and the fog lights make a huge difference. It’s a perfect vehicle that I thought I’d never be able to afford.

    I knew my buddy Tony would make me smile today. It has to make you feel good Tony when a young man is a fan and following you. You're cool Tony. ;). I like that Caddy made the price of this SUV obtainable.

    This is my 2nd SRX, I had the 2009 (which I loved, and should never have traded out), and have been itching for a newer one. Just bought a 2012 with 25k miles. Practically new . . . its tight, and lovely to drive. I will miss the cargo of the old model, but agree, this is a sweet a$$ caddy. Glad I got it. I feel nice and secure in it, not to mention, TOTALLY MILFY as I roll up to Tae Kwon Do class with my boy in the back. :)

    Thank you! I saw the CX-5 @ the NY Auto Show and I loved the styling - both inside and out. I have yet to review one - but the word on the street is that it pretty much ROCKS - except for it being sluggish. Look for updated engine choices next year!

    Enjoyed your video Tony. Ive always liked the srx since I had one as a service loaner in 05. I'm considering trading my 2010 Audi q5 w 56k miles now for an srx, just a bit more space and comfort, smoother ride and hopefully less trips to the garage!

    Tony, have you driven the Equinox, which is the Chevy version of this car? I wonder if it is worth spending double just to get more luxury, after all, both vehicles are essentially the same

    I found this car for about $14,000, but people are warning me that this will be hell to fix if it has any issues. I'm between this and a Kia Soul. What's your opinion on this?

    I'm thinking about buying a 2012 sec luxury collection . Priced at $9,999.. 63,000 miles.. is this a bad idea? I know nothing about the car

    • @averageguytested
      @averageguytested  Před 5 lety

      Knowing nothing about the car is he bad idea. If you go ahead you should have your own mechanic take a look and you should also do research on the vehicle to see if it’s been in a major accident, flood, etc. check carfax the price seems a bit low to me - unless you know and trust the owner.

    I have a 2011 SRX but I wanted to see the differences in the 2012 and 2011 I have 120K miles on my 2011, but so far no major issues. Question: is premium fuel more advisable than
    mid-grade fuel?

    • @averageguytested
      @averageguytested  Před měsícem +1

      I believe so. It should say inside the gas panel. Check it out the next time you fill up.

      ***** How do you like your SRX so far? My wife is considering a used 2012 with only 30k miles. Any advice from a real owner would help greatly. Thanks!

  • @averageguytested
    @averageguytested  Před 12 lety

    Hey Pedro. There are more than just luxury upgrades the 2012 Equinox comes standard with a 2.4-liter four engine that produces 182 hp and 172 pound-feet of torque while the SRX gets a 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 308 hp and 265 pound-feet of torque. There are too many features to mention and the base SRX starts @ 35k - go caddy if you have the coin :)

    • @averageguytested
      @averageguytested  Před 8 lety

      +LORDGIVEME ASIGN I got this from Edmunds.com - thanks for watching my video!
      EPA fuel economy estimates stand at 25 mpg city/36 mpg highway and 29 mpg combined for the Cruze LS with the manual transmission and 22/35/27 mpg with the automatic. The turbocharged engine (LT and LTZ) with either transmission receives 26/38/30 mpg estimates.The fuel-economy-focused Cruze Eco earns a laudable 28 mpg city/42 mpg highway and 33 mpg combined with the manual transmission and 26/39/31 with the automatic.
