Having at least a decent routine is so helpful. Less decisions to make on a daily basis so less decision fatigue amd you hold yourself accountable. For example, I didnt eant to exercise this morning. I played a round of golf last night while fasted and woke up still fasted. I was sluggish, but I forced myself to exercise. Glad I did.
Saint Jocko; His only sin was he once ate a chocolate chip cookie.
A whole one??!!!! đČ

I always love to listen to Mr Jacko!!â€â€
If you feel the need to brag to world that you get up early every day you are insecure about something and looking for validity. Heâs no different to anyone else.
@@Ap-sy5nt Lol stop projecting. Did you listen to a word he said? đ€Ą
I love that he uses the term "unslept" here- we'd never go to work "unwashed" or "undressed" but we'll head in with too little sleep as if it's a non issue.
Obviously, that doesn't mean I'm suggesting you skip work so you can nap and catch up, but rather that we prioritize basic sleep hygiene so that we're ready when it's time to get up & get after it.
I think I had a preconceived Idea about what Steve was like but realizing after watching more and more he's much more relatable. Have been enjoying your recent guests as well. Jimmy Carr and Jacko.
It's the little habits that we practice each day that either limit our options or increase our options. The ones with the most options win.
Wow! I love this interview. As a single mum I'm a leader, and what he says really resonates and is making me think about where I need to adjust my behaviour.
Thank you
I need this interview. Good Job
I love listening to these! Thank you Steven.
Than you!đ
Iâm so not a morning person I can be if needed Iâm better & preform better later in the day I need my sleep to be functional in all ways I love this!
Love your podcasts, must have listened to at least of 70% of them from start to finish. Although just wondering if there are plans to do one with Dorian Yates?
I hate being a late night /morning person. I learnt to get all my clothes and bits ready so I not late for any appointments the next day .
Jocko is right you should listen more than you talk as there always is more to know than you don't know.
Hence you have one mouth and two ears.
I think it's best for me to do my calisthenics routine and study in the morning before excuses can creep in and my mind feels clearest can power through things without getting lost and apathetic.
Can someone explain to me why I regularly get unsubscribed to some channels. The channels that I unsubscribe without me knowing change. I contacted CZcams about it but never heard from them.
What would be best for Seniors?
You have to interview Dr. Matthew Walker from University of CA Berkeley. Heâs the worldâs leading expert on sleep. Thereâs nothing wrong waking up at 9, 10 or even 11 am!! Youâve got to interview him. Trust me on this.
He has done a podcast with him

Just about as close as it gets
Lost me at âsubordinatesâ
It's common in companies, and probably the management books that he might have read throughout his career. Probably given his age too.
.. but you have a point.
@@user-zb8ss9xb1b i donât give a shit. Itâs a bellend term to use and we all know it. He can use whatever word he chooses for that. Or does he not have a mind of his own?
@@Ap-sy5nt You're cherry picking. If you'd actually read his book and knew his background, you'd know that his belief is empowering everyone in the team to lead and lend their skills, no matter what level. The bellend move is making the ridiculous presumptions that you are, getting twisted up over semantics.
Youâre reading into it too much
Avoid routine like the plague, routine is the enemy, routine enforces the ego and the false mind made self, the organisms biggest fear is this me or this I is self made and does not exist
Good luck with life.
@rowdyrob06 your like a dog chasing it's own tail thinking one day you will catch it, and a mentality like yours you'll work like a dog your whole life, those off us with a much greater understanding off this world don't need luck, we know we will achieve great things.
@@rowdyrob06 that's a rather dogmatic remark, your like a dog chasing it's own tail thinking one day if u keep trying u will catch it
@@Dan-qm2tl Lol sure thing bud. We'll just throw out human psychology because this Dan guy on the internet says it's bad.
@rowdyrob06 the wisest men in the world realise they know nothing, most of it is garbage so yes throw it out, there's nothing more harmful then people that claim to have knowledge and know things, especially so called experts, they do significant harm to people trying to impose what they think they know on others.
He didn't mention God or his wife. Sort of sad. Physical and discipline is good but one tiny piece...
