  • Hey folks - this video shows how I grill marinated London Broil or Flank Steak cut of meat. In California, this is sold as London Broil, but other parts of the country this is referred to as Flank Steak. Do what's shown in the video for a true restaurant quality meal. You need the below items to achieve this meal:
    London Broil or Flank Steaks
    Soy Sauce
Lemon juice (concentrated or fresh lemons)
    Coarse Black Pepper
    Two gallon size ziplock back
Preheated grill for 400 degree cooking throughout
A very sharp carving knife to thinly slice the grilled meat

Dude that is not Flank Steak. That is top Round. Flank Steak is a completely different cut. You are correct in that some areas of the country use flank steak as london broil. But traditionally it is Top Round like you are using. I should also say that London Broil refers to the technique of marinating a tough cut of beef to make it tender. Also you should never use a raw marinade to baste a cooking meat. Always set aside some of the marinade for basting before you put the meat into it. As the marinade comes to room temp the bacteria from the meat if there is any can grow in the marinade and cause food poisoning. I mean you are putting it under a direct heat so you should be ok, but why take the chance.

I do 3.5 minutes then rotate 90 degrees for another 3.5 minutes then flip and do the same for the other side. 7 minutes each side total.

Can you re-upload? Video shows finished meat, not how it was cooked. And using leftover marinade that has been brought to a boil or at scalded to 185 is a good way to spend the next three days with the Jewish neighbors. Sam and Ella.

Thanks for the comment - can you try watching again from a different computer browser or mobile phone? I just now watched the video start to finish and it showed the whole video.

Shouldn't put marinade that touched raw meat on cooked meat.

You are another one that don’t know London broil because it’s NOT FLANK Steak. And a real chef anywhere in the world knows this
