- In this video i share an overview of Puma's latest releases the Deviate Nitro Elite 3 and Nitro 3. The Nitro 3 is easily one of the best daily trainers in the running shoe market and I feel like the Deviate Nitro Elite 3 will be the racing equivalent. This is not a review but rather an overview of these shoes.

I won’t lie to you… the deviate nitro elite is worth the hype
Just got the deviate nitro 3 wide. Freaking love it. I can see why the reviewers arent feeling it as much as v2 but for me it works better. I have the nitro elite v1 and v2 and I liked v1 better. I am apprehensive about v3 because of how everyone is saying it very narrow. I want it tho
Try it out for yourself! Thats always my advice! These are great shoes for sure and my review will come out soon sharing my honest opinions
@@AubreyRunning yea just ordered a pair. Hoping the fit works! It’s not the middle that didn’t work for me the v2 messed with my pinky toe. We shall see!
Argh ! I didn't know about the new releases and grabbed a pair of elite 2's earlier in the week (they are on their way now) At least they were on a super special.

@@AubreyRunning with the innersole now glued in like the Nike's, does it look like it's possible to rip it out without wrecking the shoes? I did this some years ago with some old Nike's. I like my own custom inner soles with arch support.
Nice job Aubrey! I'm excited about both of these shoes! Being a puma fan myself (Deviate 2, Foreverrun 2 and Magnify 2 owner) I feel like the Deviate Elite 3 should be my next purchase, but I'll wait to see what you think about them before taking the plunge.
What is the best puma non plate for long run?
@@pennynoss I prefer the foreverrun over the Magnify. Both are cushioned and supportive but the foreverrun for me takes less out of my legs over a longer distance. Although I've also tried the Velocity Nitro 3 at a Puma run club and that could also now be a contender!

What I have found atleast in Puma running shoes is that material used on the outsole,the upper and the midsole is not same for the same model same size but different color, especially the outsole.
I'm loving these introductory videos Aubrey but you need to get your hands on the Asics Meta Speed Sky Paris or Edge and do a comparison between the Nitro Elite 3, Vaporfly 3, Rocket X2 and Asics!

Thanks Aubrey, I don’t need a new pair of running shoes but may be for my fourth marathon I will probably buy the deviate nitro elite 3. I actually own the Metaspeed Sky Paris but I didn’t run in it at the moment. The marathon is on November 10th.
That’s one shoe I haven’t tried but feel I may need to get it on my feet.
I loved my deviate nitro 2 and nitro elite 2 until i switched to adidas boston 12 and pro 3. They are just way more versatile and can’t wait for the pro 4.
I haven’t tried Bostons but im a pro 3 fan for sure.
Aubrey do you know if the elite foam in the deviate nitro is the A-tpu or if it’s still the peba from the 2?
@@bigshotz1240 from what I know… the A-tpu is only in the Elite 3

Not loving the heel on the new Deviate 3s (not the elites). It's too loose and that shark fin thingy on the outside doesn't do much if anything. I have had the Deviates from the first iteration. Runner's loop fixes the problem, but I own multiple Puma shoes that don't have this heel fit problem. They should have made a heel like the Velocity 3s.
I do like your reviews, but you need to be more critical on shoe fails.
This is why I EMPHASISED that this is NOT a review. This is an overview of these shoes. I have not ran in them yet. I will then produce a review once I have ran in it and share my honest opinions whether they are critical of the shoes or complimentary.

@@AubreyRunning Pooma my friend, puma! Just as the people where this animal lives pronounce it:) I mean how Americans and South Americans pronounce it. But I know you British are special, driving on the left, using pints and stuff... I'm kidding with you mate, it's all good, I might just get the elite, looks good. I refuse to get the DN3, they made it worse than the DN2 it seems, heavier, worse upper...so out of principal no buy. I have two DN2's anyway.

How have you made these reviews..you have done 17ks in the elites, according to your own strava and not even ran in the non eleites. And one of those was on a treadmill. You're not even trying

This is an overview. I call it Video zero in my new format. I will give an overview of a shoe highlighting its features, stats and specs and price.
After I run in it during my marathon training I will then issue my review.
