- Welcome to our 48 hours in Paris Vlog, or our Top things to see and do in Paris in 48 hours.
We recently went to Paris for a few days, mainly to visit Rachel's niece who works in Disneyland Paris, but we also spent 48 hours in Paris and wanted to see how much we could see and do in that time and while we were at it, we'd make a Paris vlog showing you some of the top things to see and do in Paris.
In this 48 hours in Paris vlog, we spend 48 hours exploring Paris and seeing the famous landmarks and explore lesser known areas.
Once we had found our hotel, it was time to go an explore the French capital, Paris, and we got to see so much in just 48 hours.
Within these 48 hours in Paris, we visited the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, we went on a Seine River boat cruise, we visited the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery where so many famous people are buried, including, Jim Morrison from The Doors, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, Marcell Marceau, Chopin, Moliere and many more. Next it was a visit to the Sacre Ceur, then a walk around Montmartre, with of course a look at the famous Moulin Rouge. It was the Paris Catacombs next, followed by sunset at the top of Mont Parnasse Tower. We finished our Paris in 48 hours vlog with a walk along the River Seine, visiting many famous landmarks, including the Louvre and Notre Dame before heading off home.
This is the first Paris vlog in our short series of Paris vlogs, with next week's vlog being our, 'First Time In Disneyland Paris', where we visit Rachel's niece, who is a Disney Princess and the third one being a haunted Paris vlog, telling some of the spooky goings on in Paris, all in a single Paris vlog.

Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. Loved that we got to see the top things to do in Paris here, Rachel and Wills. You certainly packed it in in such a brief time! Enjoyed seeing all the famous sites. But, were old. We'd need the 48 hours to just adjust from the flight! 🤣🤣It takes us a while to "Light our Fire" these days and we don't want to end up in the famous cemeteries or worse yet a catacomb! Much easier to sit here and watch your lovely video! Thanks for the tour.

A cracking travel vlog Wills and Rach. I can't believe you got all that in 48 hours, and vlogged it all too! I've only been to Paris once for the day, so we did Notre Damme, the boat cruise etc. Pere Lachaise cemetery and the Catacombs are two places I've not visited that will now be on the list when I next time! 👍 très bien

Finally a place we have been to! We love Paris. That looks like a NICE rooftop bar. Were the drinks REALLY optional? That roster at the cemetery is pretty top notch. Always exit through the gift shop! Good shout Chris! Crazy ending to the trip!

Hello, guys! Oh...Paris! I know this fantastic city quite well, because my best friend who I have known for more than 40 years, they were young girls, is Parisian and I have been to her many times.
Paris isn't my favorite city, I have to say, but it's absolutely gorgeous. It has a particular allure, a unique atmosphere and many things to see. My favorite part is definitely the Montmartre area...so charming and poetic and a bit bohemian! The Pere Lachaise is amazing. I've been there several times because it's huge and I really like visiting cemeteries wherever I go, if possible.
You guys really accomplished a lot in just over 48 hours. You did great!
I actually miss the Catacombs! I will definitely go there next time. It must be particularly exciting to be there.

So many beloved icons in that cemetery. Catacombs would definitely be my number one spot, so creepy, and it doesn’t look overly “touristy”…until the gift shop lol. A friend of mine is there now, but we’ve been seeing reports of…bed bugs taking over the city?
They were so cool. Yes thankfully bedbug gate took over the week after we left. There’s reports of them in many hotels and the metro. Nasty! Thanks for watching 🍻
Ooh, I like Paris. You can almost forgive that it is full of Parisiens. Only kidding Parisiens, all you Pierres and Emilies add to the the colour of Paris. Monsieur Wills and Madam Rach you've done another pearler. I did wonder what the plaster concord was though? Ah, that place. I think we parked our car in a car park under the plaster. We never thought to climb the Arc. Cool as. Cool view too. Another thing we've never done was the cruise on the Siene. Insane I know (oh bugger, Monsieur Wills cracks a funny with that at the end). Might have to do that next time too. We didn't get to the cemetery either. Okay, so this is turning into a video of all the highlights of Paris we missed. I dunno why I forgot to visit Jim Morrison's grave though? Monmartre! Finally somewhere I've been. Even had a crepe in the street like a typical Parisien. Try saying that fast. Lovely butter and sugar crepe. Love a good Paris crepe. We did do the catacombes too. Back in the olden days I think we just wandered up and got in. It was really cool. I may, just may mind you, have seen some dodgy Australian pick up a skull and try and do the Shakespeare Yorick speech. Oh look, back on to stuff we did not do. Sunset towers. What a great view. I've heard the best thing about the view from up there is you can't see it. Your Patio Bastille isn't too far from where we stayed in the 3rd district the last time we were there with the kids. Not a bad spot. Ha, finally somewhere we actually went in. The Louvre. Top spot. Had some nice pictures and stuff in it. Tick for Notre Dame too. We went in pre-kids, but last time we just wandered around it with the kids. We were followed by a sus weird little guy in a beret and trench coat. Strange Pierre. So we had some delicious ice cream from a shop on the bridge to the island. Berthillon I think. Nice ice cream. We went to another gelato place nearby called Pozetto too.
Yeah, Paris is pretty cool. I can see us visiting again too. Nice work Monsieur et Madam, tres magnifique!

Loved this, your video around Paris really cheered me up! Always love the way you guys do your '48 hours' and travel series, so fun. Amazing to see the Arch de triumph up close, hell to the no for the stairs though hehe. The views are well worth it, loved listening to the history behind it! That cemetery was hugggge, love it though, such interesting architecture, a great idea with the app! Wow, Oscar Wilde's grave?! Thats iconic. Wow, the place is full of famous graves, very impressive. Have always wanted to do the catacombs, it's so so interesting, so glad you got the chance to go down there, very eerie! I find Ossuaries really intriguing, would love to explore them in Paris and around the UK. The streets of Paris are really quaint and interesting, thank you very much both of you for sharing your journey with us, really really enjoyed this!

Been looking forward to this. Great video. Went to Paris March 2019 so lucky enough to visit notre dame. If you go back, you need to visit Sainte-Chappelle.
We wanted to visit Saint chapels, we hadn’t booked though! We walked past it on our way to Norte Dame and looked for tickets as the weather was perfect for a visit there, but there was no room! It’s on our list for next time. Cheers for watching 🍻
