As I've already mentioned on facebook and G+, my room was literally being flooded while recording this 'video'. Water was everywhere, even my clothes were soaked :D Fortunatelly the recording equipement escaped unscathed. Apart from the sounds of footsteps and spray, I included also some extra sounds of toweling your hair which start right before the end of the video.

Those foot steps at the start, scared the shit out of me, they sounded so real. You know audio is good when it sounds so real that you can feel it.

The tickling in the lower back was so intense that i jolted right up... Somehow I can only feel the sensation when the spray bottle is next to my right ear

I rather enjoyed the combination of footsteps and water sprays. It is like having the company or presence of another person without having to talk to each other. It's nice.

I love how, despite the videos here being the utmost top quality, they don't receive many views because no faces are shown. It amazes me how people still get sucked into the whole social aspect of it all.. even in an ASMR video!!! The point of these videos is to trigger a response, not to make a cyber-relationship with the person giving you these responses!!! Ridiculousness!
lubbockonian It's like any art form really; once it grows beyond it's initial stages it gets ruined by all the outside nonsense. In music it's greed that usually kills it. In the case of ASMR it seems it is vanity instead.
lubbockonian I love the demanding on the commenter's part. It's what allows others to put into effect the sounds that are better than the one presented. If I don't like a video and see potential in doing it another way, I'll say it.
lubbockonian Just because you've never experienced tingles doesn't mean its an "incorrect way to describe the effect of these videos". I ONLY listen to asmr for the tingles, I don't care about soothing sounds. I purposefully seek out the most tingle inducing ones because they feel so good. Id definitely describe this recording as tingle inducing. There's no other way to explain the feeling besides "tingly". So don't dismiss people describing certain sounds as tingley just because you don't understand the feeling.
I always had the impression that the majority of people seek out the videos for the tingling sensation, and that the calm, soothing aspect was just a given. I mean, ALL of them are pretty relaxing, but not all of them induce tingles, so when you find a good one that DOES, it makes sense to talk about how tingly it was. All of the videos offer a relaxing state of mind, but one that yields incredible tingles is more rare and worth saying so in a comment.
Also, I was in agreement with everything else you said, so I felt no urge to address any of the rest. How does my not mentioning any of the other points you made add up to a lack of understanding? I wasn't opposing your entire opinion, you just jumped to that assumption in defense.

i liked the footsteps, but didn't like all of the spray bottle sounds, cause some were too close, and actually sounded abrasive, and kind of violent. it almost felt like an attack with spray bottles. not as chill as most of DOS's videos.

I don't know why everyone is bitching about the footsteps. I found it a nice twist from the usual spray vids. There are plenty of ordinary spray vids on CZcams if that is your thing. At least he isn't doing that annoying nail tapping that most asmrists do.
