Why the hell was this not the lead single??? It’s such a stand out and would have been perfect for entering a new album after a hiatus
The build up, the riffs, the drumming, the explosive chorus, Hayley's diverse vocal pallette. Oh man.. they are unbelievable

the drumming on this song (and honestly entire album) is just unreal. Zac is so insanely talented
This has a very similar sound at the beginning to ‘Pool’. But gives me old school vibes like it should belong on ‘All we know is falling’ album. Might be my fave ❤
This whole album is so underrated, but this song, I’m shocked it’s not a single yet. The drums build up so well and Hayley’s vocals are phenomenal. This is coming from a fellow Hayley lol
Zac's drums here are incredible! This is my favorite song, I can't explain why, it drives a nostalgia from somewhere I can't pinpoint.

This song is phenomenal (so is every other one on this album lol). It also feels like Pool part 2. The opening melody reminds me of the opening of Pool, the opening lyric "Drained me dry" seems like a reference, and Pool was a dark take on a love song. This song feels like the aftermath and reflecting on it.
Insane how slept on this song is. Killer hook, the fuckin MARIMBA, the shouty interjections, the ambitious high note at the end, the theme of being stuck in this cycle while harkening back to their old sound, illustrating the struggle to change while still innovating and not simply retreading. It’s gonna age really well.
