Diese Interpretation des Heldenlebens von Daniele Gatti ist die beste Interpretation dieses Werkes, die ich kenne; unkonventionell und viel ausdrucksstärker als andere Interpretationen dieses Werkes. Einfach nur beeindruckend!!! Im Februar 2024 höre ich beide Werke von Gatti in Leipzig, ich freue mich jetzt schon!

I thought Swiss Romande Orch was a history after Ansermet. Wrong! The sound is as impeccable as I remember. It feels like seeing (or, rather, hearing) an old flame half a century later. I hope to see more SRO on CZcams or elsewhere.

Em 1970, sem Ernest Ansermet que faleceu no ano anterior, com minha amada esposa Elza tive a felicidade de, nesta magnífica Sala de Concertos, em Genebra, assistir um magnífico concerto desta magnífica Orquestra que Ansermet tornou famosa! Nesse concerto, a Orquestra de la Suisse Romande foi dirigida por um maestro muito conhecida nessa época. A Orquestra continua sendo de La Suisse Romande, igualmente magnífica, mas, certamente, nenhum dos integrantes continua nela. É uma felicidade reve-la e ouvi-la, agora nas redes sociais, o que é de festejar.

How do you treat your musicians if you don’t even mention the name of the concertmaster, who played a huge and important solo? What a disrespect for people. recreating the music of great composers!
