he's a good actor... but there are a lot of spanish speaking actor who deserved an opportunity in the "major leagues". sadly... diego is just the funny guy from mexico... he can do a star wars role cus it's star wars... its supposed to be another universe full of diversity, he fits that role perfectly... but cmon, we all know how hollywood is
Diego Luna is one of my favorite actors of today. His character in Narcos blew me out of the water! Just amazing! He really is exceptionally talented. Very pumped for Andor. I hope they keep editing right up to the last minute.

@@darthsullen you should watch "Y tu mamá también", one of his first main movies with Gael Garcia Bernal (movie buds); also "Nicotina" is an amazing piece. And one of my favorites "Rudo y Cursi", where he acts again with Gael.

Hard to believe it’s almost been 6 years since Rogue One came out. Diego looks pretty much the same then as he does now, which is good since “Andor” is obviously taking place before Rogue One

I think all Spanish-speaking Star Wars fans remember the moment we each realized Arturito is actually R2-D2 😂. We just grew up hearing it that way, and once we finally saw it written it finally clicked he was not un Arturo pequeño 😂. My nephew had the same experience recently but with BB-8, he was convinced he was really called Bebocho.
He is such a sweet guy. And he is extremely talented.
This guy deserves all the success, just watched Andor, it was brilliant.

From Mexico to Argentina since 1977 when first star wars film was released in spanish in Hispanic American R2D2 translate sounds like ARTURITO in spanish so for decades it's called like that and people knows that character like ARTURITO, obviously real star wars fans don't called that way, but it's a real and funny history from our childhood to this days

At first I was so uninterested in this show and didn't think much of Diego Luna since he didn't really grab me in Rogue One, and I haven't seen his other stuff. This show has totally obliterated my expectations and now I'm a fan. It's by far the best Star Wars show.
Kudos to Diego, he is a very talented actor, amd he managed to break through in another country, in another language. And he is equally awesome as Miguel Ángel Felix Gallardo and as Cassian Andor! (And holy crap, never seen his ears before!)

In retrospect, Rogue One was the best of the newer Star Wars films because it added to the original storyline instead of screwing it up.

Yep, in the latino dub for the original trilogy they dubbed R2D2 as Arturito, something they corrected from the prequels and after. But the Arturito in the OT is still there lol
