  • Get ahead of winter’s fury; get Ventrac-equipped. Built for the demands of winter, Ventrac provides the best in snow-clearing equipment. Whether the 4520 tractor with winter cab or the SSV stand-on, these machines are the commercial-quality standard for sidewalk snow. With a full line of attachments for any stage of the snow event, Ventrac provides all the necessary tools to do the task, no matter the conditions.
    Versatility is the star of the show, with brooms, drop spreaders, snow blowers, box blades, and v-blades available to deal with the first part of the storm and heavier accumulation. The Ventrac 4520 tractor combines all-wheel drive to give you unmatched stability and control, while its compact profile and maneuverability allow for snow removal in tight areas and sidewalks. With the addition of the heated cab, you can stay comfortable and productive to get the work done no matter the conditions.
    The SSV is a ride-on machine with exceptional power packed into a very compact unit. Equipped with a high-output, 23-horsepower commercial engine, it has the ability to run powered attachments at a narrow working width of 34 inches. Ergonomic features keep the operator comfortable on the SSV with a suspended platform, a soft operator pad, heated hand grips, and an optional windscreen to keep the elements off of the operator. Salt accessories include a brine system, mid-mounted and front-mounted drop spreaders. The mid-mounted drop spreader on the SSV conveniently slides out for easy refilling. Add on the front-mounted drop spreader to increase your total salt capacity to 300+ pounds.
    You don’t want to be caught off guard without a Ventrac this year. From snow blowers, blades, brooms, and more, find out why Ventrac is the leader in sidewalk-sized snow equipment.

    I have been watching ventrac vids on CZcams for years.I was disappointed this year with the minimum amount of full videos. “If you post it, they will watch”

    Zero tolerance accounts are difficult to field. But pay well. At least they do for us. Just have to make sure that both you and the customer have realistic expectations. Make sure those expectations align.

    • @ventrac
      @ventrac  Před 10 měsíci +1

      That's a very good point and something to always be up front with when getting those accounts!

    I have the broom and the fixed mold board plow with the wings. Put the broom on the front and plow in the back. When we backbroom the driveways, we can pull away AND push to the road WITHOUT turning around. It’s just a huge timesaver. I’ve been eyeballing the kx blowers. But, we need to get a bit more snow here for that to be needed. Careful what you wish for ❄️🌨️

      @ventrac  Před 10 měsíci

      Sounds like a solid set up! If you get a deeper snow this year, contact your dealer to see if you can demo a KX. The 52" is a solid choice for busting through driveways.

    We got an SSV last year and my only complaint about the snow blower is that there is not an easy way to unclog the chute. During wet storms we would often clog the chute and it was very difficult to get the packed snow out. If you guys could design the fence guard on the front of the chute to easily swing down, unclogging the machine would be 100 times easier. Other than that we are really happy with the machine, especially the broom for the smaller storms. As my company grows we will be buying more in the future. hopefully a 4520 next!

      Blast it with wd-40 as part of winter season prep.

    The kind of snow you get (wet or dry) and the area you work (driveways, roads, parking lots, etc.) drive the implement decision. Part of that is where you move the snow to.
    If I plow 2 miles of roads of wet snow, then an 83 inch blade angled is useful.
    Some folks offer rubber blade extensions and gauge wheels vs iron.
    Hours on an open tractor in freezing weather with the kind of snow you get will drive your choices.

      One of the first questions we ask when someone is looking into snow equipment, is the kind of snow and average amount. Very good point!

    We have a 4520 and use the broom 30 to 1 to the v plow.
    But glad to have it for insurance.
    Broom is a must

    I’ve operated a peace a few years ago and I can say it’s Great equipment, easy to operate and learn but if you’re a tall person you do need to keep in mind of your legs position from being pinched while turning but otherwise it’s good equipment and I do wish I can own my personal equipment.

    Screws popping out still a common complaint with a seemingly easy solution of threading into the sheet metal. Dealer network still needs vast improvement but at least there is one. Great product still appears to be dominating Steiger but Steiger does do this as well.

    I enjoyed this video. Is it possible to attach the winds scree and wiper shown on the SSV to a 4520? (I have a new 4520 with a 52” snowblower on order and I’d surely like a windscreen without bothering with the full cab).

    • @ventrac
      @ventrac  Před 10 měsíci

      Hello! The windscreen is for the SSV, but the 4520 does have a cab option!

    Hi guys, thank you for the video. I am about to buy my first plow attachment. I am thinking the V-plow with the extensions or the KD blade with extensions. If you had to choose which one would you recommend? (Driveways, big and small, sidewalks, etc)
    Does the v-plow have a little bit more pushing power?

    • @ventrac
      @ventrac  Před 10 měsíci

      Hey! At the end of the day, both of these of plows equipped with extensions will get the job done. If the majority of the jobs you are doing are driveways and other similarly sized areas, a straight blade with extensions may be best for you. If you are actually going to take on more pathways, the V-blade is great at opening up sidewalks so you can cover more in a day. Here is a great video for you to watch to see additional examples in operation: czcams.com/video/hsB6ShYMMUo/video.html

    I really wish I understood what he means when he says a blade "translates out" is the V blade also a interpreter?? I've been plowing since 1996, and I've heard terms like "hoggin", but never translate. Guess my boomerism is kicking in...

      Some building efrigeration systems run on glycol, which is antifreeze. If Ventrac has antifreeze in it, what's the holdup on designing an air-conditioned cab?
