Except for Willie Le Roux butchering the 1 try in the 1 test, we has really good for the rest of that game. I think you are basing your whole score for Willie on that 1 play. Willie gave us so much go forward ball and spread the ball out wide in the match.
Rating Sacha's second game as a 5-6 is inconsistent to what you gave Willie. Sacha also butchered a try so why not treat that the same as the 1 Willie butchered?

I keep hearing how he supposedly butchered that try. I don't agree.
It was a play initiated by him and Sacha and Sacha unexpectedly made a break. Le Roux had to then keep his eyes on Sacha to wait for the pass and he couldn't know whether the outside backs even saw the break. This was happening at full speed as well.
He didn't have time to look around and assumed he was alone. That's not a butchered play, this is just what goes on in broken play.

Difficult to be hard on Sacha given how badly we beat Australia and in what conditions that was done. Him and Willie Le Roux were the playmakers and if you beat a side by 26 points, that means they did their job well.

Can someone please explain to me what Pollard did to deserve a 5-6?
First game: kicked the ball dead from the restart *again*. Passed the ball once, ran once for zero metres. Made 2 tackles, missed 1. No kicks at goal. Made 3 tackles.
Second game: 1 from 2 kicks at goal. 2 passes - 1 to Manie to make the play and the other went behind the backline completely, putting us under pressure and killing an attacking opportunity. Zero metres made.

Lucky to even be in Stomers team.Van den Berg is better than Hendricks . Should have been given another opportunity. Hendrikse service is so slow. He retards the entire momentum of the backline. Still feel there are a couple of players in Europe that should be in this squad. Kolisi is not playing a full 80 minutes...time to drop him(7-8? not a chance). Boks need a mongrel fetcher in the loose trio. Smith is the only real fetcher. Big problem for this team is securing that ball against top sides. Of course, you showed your true colours when you spotlighted our Captain for not playing 80 minutes, completely overlooking Malcolm, Kitsie, Vincent, Thomas, Eben, Vincent, Sous, RG, Jean, Jasper and Kwagga who also don't usually play 80 minutes, due to this thing that we do, known as the bomb squad.
Ireland made inroads against the Boks because Pollard can not or will not play attacking rugby. He kicks goals, and if Willie is not on the field, our backline is dead. Remove your white tinted glasses and have a good hard look at what he actually contributes to the side these days - you will quickly realise why we lost to Ireland.

Pollard passed the ball twice, once to Manie and once behind the entire backline, Manie passed it 5 times and ran 3 times - 8 touches in 9 minutes to Pollard's 2 in 20, with neither of Pollard's being very good at all. Where is the class in those two touches?
But you lack the basic common decency to judge them honestly on their actual performance, insisting on judging them according to your opinion of them. Not very respectful to the guy selected to play for the Boks by the coach who won back to back World Cups, is it?
BTW, Pollard did not win the RWC for us, our defence did. Pollard kicked four goals and I am exceptionally happy that he did that, but let us not for one minute believe that 12 points would be enough to win a game against the AB's without a monumental defensive effort.
