Fassi has been the find this international season. Whenever he was picked, never looked out of place. The more opportunities he gets, the more he'll excel in my opinion.
Ja, totally agree. I haven’t seen anything that Rassie and the boys have that make him so desirable. Maybe just not enough play time but I don’t rate him.
G Williams will always be on the bench because he is essential there for a 6-2 split. On the positive side he will always be in the team, his body will take less blows but most importantly he will win more caps.
Except for Willie Le Roux butchering the 1 try in the 1 test, we has really good for the rest of that game. I think you are basing your whole score for Willie on that 1 play. Willie gave us so much go forward ball and spread the ball out wide in the match. Rating Sacha's second game as a 5-6 is inconsistent to what you gave Willie. Sacha also butchered a try so why not treat that the same as the 1 Willie butchered?
I keep hearing how he supposedly butchered that try. I don't agree. It was a play initiated by him and Sacha and Sacha unexpectedly made a break. Le Roux had to then keep his eyes on Sacha to wait for the pass and he couldn't know whether the outside backs even saw the break. This was happening at full speed as well. He didn't have time to look around and assumed he was alone. That's not a butchered play, this is just what goes on in broken play.
Broadly agree with your rankings.Interesting your 9-10 rank is dominated by the forwards. It shows that against ABs our backliners and everyone else needs to step up their game to be in that highest rank to stand a good chance of winning both their games. You need to close and cover all angles to beat the ABs convincingly. Thanks for the video🎉

Made 2 tackles, missed 1. No kicks at goal. Made 3 tackles. Second game: 1 from 2 kicks at goal. 2 passes - 1 to Manie to make the play and the other went behind the backline completely, putting us under pressure and killing an attacking opportunity. Zero metres made. Am I the only one who actually sees what he is producing at the moment, and is not blinded by what he has done in the past?
Just a comment on your categories. I think you should link a category to a whole number. Example: 5 is average, 6 is above average, 5-6 does not really say anything.
Salmon is a 5.5 (needs more game time) and Nortje is a 6.8 - boardering in being good, deserves another chance. Louw is a 6 - tried hard, was solid without being remarkable. Is this a better performance than Willie le Roux in the first test, who made a single mistake but touched the ball once every 2 minutes on average and completely controlled the backline?
@@Karma-qt4ji manie is not even in the same discussion as Pollard so you cant compare the two. One day if that day ever comes for Manie to achieve what Pollard have then you can try again but until then you have nothing meaningful to say.
@@WesselJooste-yh6xi Look at the topic of the video, boet. Performances for Rugby Championship so far. So tell me, what has Pollard done that Manie hasn't? You immediate response was to talk about Pollard's career but that is not the discussion here.
@@Karma-qt4ji Manie performed exactly the same as he did since the day he became a Springbok. That is his career as a springbok very average and mediocre. Pollard showed his class over and over literally winning the RWC for South Africa and as we all know class is permanent. same goes for Sasha he will be a great cause he consist of that X-factor to become a class player but Manie just doesn't!
@@WesselJooste-yh6xi You can't even answer the question, can you? It's not difficult, simply tell me what Pollard did in his two appearances at the Rugby Championship that made him so much better than Manie. What did Manie do that made him so mediocre?
Pollard was on the field for 20 minutes on Saturday, Manie on for 9. Pollard passed the ball twice, once to Manie and once behind the entire backline, Manie passed it 5 times and ran 3 times - 8 touches in 9 minutes to Pollard's 2 in 20, with neither of Pollard's being very good at all. Where is the class in those two touches?
But you lack the basic common decency to judge them honestly on their actual performance, insisting on judging them according to your opinion of them. Not very respectful to the guy selected to play for the Boks by the coach who won back to back World Cups, is it?
BTW, Pollard did not win the RWC for us, our defence did. Pollard kicked four goals and I am exceptionally happy that he did that, but let us not for one minute believe that 12 points would be enough to win a game against the AB's without a monumental defensive effort.
Decent surface level content from this guy. Gaining popularity from clickbaity thumbnails. Lots of other Rugga podcasts etc with significantly more insightful opinions eg: RugbyBits
