I’m always down for new endgame content and this looks pretty fun. Don’t know what the meta will be exactly but I guess I’ll just wait and see.
From the way we saw it, it seems the meta units for this stage are
1. DEF down debuffers.
2. AoE buffers (the bigger the area the better).
3. AoE healers (also the bigger the better)
Basically, the meta shift from single target buff stack (Ako, Himari, NY. Fuuka) to AoE buff stack and heal (Dress Ako, NY. Akari, Kotama). Oh, it seems summoner type units like Cheer Utaha and Umika are good pick too here since their cannon and robot can be buffed too. But as you have said, we need a bit more time to be certain on what is the legit meta strategy here
@@justawanderingoldman7699 Yes if we’re moving away from single target buffers then it’s for sure gonna be a big shake up form the usual that everyone got used to doing total assaults. Gonna be looking into the future units a bit more now.

Well it's a fun mode for endgame players for now. While I have the students, I actually wonder if it's worth to spend eligmas to upgrade them to 5 star and above just to clear XD

I burned almost all of my t1 materials on crafting gifts..
I'm using the Arius books/notes to craft them since I've got abundant yet not a single student from them. Raid wise, it's prolly just Saori & Atsuko. For red winter, just Cherino & O.Nodoka.

Well the teams I use are mostly core raid students. And you can replace S.Hifumi with someone else, so it shouldn't be too hard?

Well it's only a fun game mode for endgame players, like right now, you need specific students to clear the stage. Which means spending eligmas to upgrade 125 ATK stat.
Is there a Fury of Set tier list anywhere?

Not yet, as far as I know. Well this Fury of Set content runs for one month after all. So there will be new teams every week.

Is T. Yuuka so meta that they're trying to phase her out of future contents? (say me who just had to spark her)
Well T.Yuuka is still used in lots of contents in the next 6 months. She's a support unit so it's harder to phase her out, unless we have better units in the future that do the same thing.
Noted that this is just the first run of this game mode. In the future, they might release more bosses with different gimmick that actually need T. Yuuka. The current gimmick looks like a simple straight forward fight when you just need to deal big damage while spamming AoE heal. I won't be surprised if the future bosses will have healing effect reduce gimmick or need you to relocate your students. Comparing to Total Assault, this one is just like Hieronymus. We might see Shiro/Kuro or Goz version of this game mode in the future.
@@justawanderingoldman7699 The issue with TYuuka is she only repositions herself and 3 other students...now you have 6 strikers on field so she won't repos and shield them all.
T.Yuuka is a reinforced concrete meta in GoZ raid at least, and is a comfortable pick for ShiroKuro too + pretty common usage on Kaiten, and she appears in some other raids on torments ofc, not to mention regular content like challenge stages or JFD... She's very very solid, one of the actual must-haves, as she's also limited + one of the best L2D in the game (I am literally crying when I see it sometimes 😭)
In the new game mode however, most likely she won't be your student of choice, even if new raids of this type will have a repos/mass-shield gimmicks, she can only move up to 3 other allies with herself, unlike S.Eimi who can move up to 6, as she was released later, with new raids in mind...
Don't mind me ---> (Now that I think about it, Kaede is an interesting student to mention, she was deemed to forever be out of meta, but she might find herself new usages here after so long... Well, all the aoe centric students are kinda like this now(?), which is good, at least for veteran players, as we have more students to raise and use, and that's fun, especially the old forgotten ones, like Hanako, Kotama etc...)
The battle looks cool, but I'm not so sure about the boost you get to students' stats. Feels fairly minimal for how expensive it is.
Yup it requires 5 star and lv90. It's for highly leveled players and most casuals shouldn't really bother too much with this mode

Well if you have spare credits and are low on them. Fury of Set is monthly content, so I doubt we're getting them fast. Unless we get more of them next month.
Generally you should be making more than enough to get the materials from credit shop daily

S.hifumi is just there for stat + attack speed, you can probably replace her with someone else for more stat buff for the team.

Who's better to pull? O. Shigure or NY Akari? If you're only have to choose one for this new game mode.
- NY.Akari is only useful in the mode + last Binah Torment since she was released last month.
- While O.Shigure will help you get comfy runs, if you want comfy daily raids clear. They are more of a luxury options for now, but most of the floor 99 clears use them. Maybe there will be cheaper team soon, since this Fury of Set mode runs for one month.

Is Kokona core here? Most Set clears I see have Kokona. I'm starting to really regret skipping her since most raids now use Kokona
For stage 74, she's not core but I haven't run floor 99 enough to find out. NY.Akari team can clear faster by 1 ~ 2 mins as well, so Kokona cost reduction may not matter much? You just need to heal the obelisk once, so probably Koharu can do it?

That's kokona sub skill, once she get 5 stamps, she reduces the entire team cost by 1.
Can onsen nodoka become onsen shigure's replacement if i don't have the latter?
People be forgetting normal Hanako exists? (She has smaller aoe though, not sure if she works good enough... you can raise her with TA shop easily on the other hand)
I think it doesn't hurt to try with O.Nodoka either way, she's a good healer after all... there should be a mock run option or something like this, right? (Clueless global player here)

Onsen nodoka seems better in every way except that she heals one by one. But if it's not too bad i might just run her instead of hanako.
Well Hanako works, but you need to learn her timing, since she burst heal so fast.

Yes you can borrow from friend, but only 1 borrow like normal raids.
Global hasnt even gotten normal missions 24 😂 I feel like its stuck in a state of event reruns. I really hate when companies do this.
We'll probably get a new mission around the 3rd anniversary, which is around late july - early august.
