Literally was about to start buying parts to build my first pc after years of putting it on hold , this video is awesome . Keep up the fantastic job !
Built my pc last year but still love to watch these videos nonetheless
Thanks mate!
Thank you for the video I am going to build this pc
Wow I love the way you show your builds and keep us up to date on where the money is best spent. It's easy to overspend and this video was just what I needed being I am in the market for a new pc.
Thank you!
As per every PC vid, I can confirm we all need our bananas 👁️👃🏻👁️

Most of these parts are similar or the same as the parts of the PC I'm going to be building next week, and because I've never built a pc before this guide is really helpful! Thanks!
Awesome!
been a fan since the peak of pandemic! just glad that value of your contents are improving. you always keep up with the trend of the latest budget builds. I think its time to uograde my pandemic 2020 build. hoping for more updated build in the future!

Thank you for the video! I’ve been planning to build my first pc and this is the one I want to build.
You mentioned adding in the additional fans and linking the exact ones in your description. I don’t see those. Also was curious about links to the other add ons you put in like the orange cords, etc. Thanks again for your videos. I appreciate them.
Hey Jonathan,
I forgot to press the publish button for my latest revisions I made to the build list. You should see the additional cables soon!
great build, love your content.

Amazing video, can’t wait for 9000 series the upcoming months, currently rocking a 7800x3d
We'll all have to wait and see! I hope Intel steps up their game too.
Clean build & I might even use these combinations for my first PC build

Just in time for my new build 🙌

I don't even have 100$ to upgrade the ram and storage on my laptop yet I watch almost all of your videos. Watching pc building is something else.

built a new pc a few months ago before watching you, went with a 7900xt, and was debating between 7900x or 7800x3d, kinda wished i started watching you earlier so i would have gone with the x3d😅
Let’s go we back 🎉
Welcome back!
great video
Thanks!
Ill flip my 750$ pc for 900, then with that 850, ill build and flip for 1000, and definetly build this. Thanks for the full guide, just might take time for the parts to come 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good luck lol
you know you arent gonna do that 😅
@@michaelmcconnell7302 at least I'll use the case, mobo, and CPU. I don't wanna transfer out all my PC stuff in another case so I should just flip and build a new one
Wouldn't it be just easier to have a job?
@@veilmontTV😭
Thats a nice pc build, but i have some question. I am new to pc build still learning from you about setup stuff... But what is SSD Dram? Is it really important for gaming? Could i still gaming with ssd dram less like SN580?
I’m working on this build! One question: what are the best keyboards you recommend?
I just built a pc a bit under 1000$ but i managed to get rx 6800 xt and ryzen 5 7600 i know that there is almost no difference in performance between these cpus but 5 7600 has that integrated gpu in case something is not right with your gpu and you need to diagnose the problem. Other than that most parts are the same but i also had ssd from my previous pc and used stock cooler so i saved quite a bit on that
Nice
Waiting for Rtx 5060 12Gb is also an option
That card won’t come out until summer of 2025 at the earliest. Nvidia will hold off on releasing that card until everyone buys up their more expensive offerings first.
Looks good
Thanks man!
That’s a crazy looking PC
Thanks Fernando.
Good video not a bad build. could make some changes if you wanna go with a after market GPU for some better price to performance. But wouldn't change anything else. Ive found a 3080 ti for 300 bucks
Used GPUs are always a good choice
the cpu motherboard ram combo deals are pretty good if youre building on a budget
sad i dont live in the us and no access to microcenter
You don’t need to live near a Microcenter to take advantage of the combo found in this build
hey man i've been watching you for about a year now and you motivated me to raise my money and i'm planning to build a pc.
so i was wondering is i5 12400f + rx 6800xt at 1440p a good idead?
i've already bought i5 12400f and in my country (3rd world country) the rx 7000 series are far more expensive than rx 6000 series
your videos are awsome by the way.
If you already bought the 12400f, then just pair the best possible GPU with it given your budget
Hey scattervolt, do u have a other case to prefer because the case that u saied to us I can’t find in germany
Hi scattervolt, I was wondering if you had a recommendation for the chapest rig I can build with a 7800x3d, It's my dream processor and I'm an overwatch player (which is a heavy CPU game). I wish to play the game in the lowest graphic settings and lowest render scale, 1920x1080p. But I want it to run at 500+fps stable with OBS and a couple of chrome tabs. What is the best budget options for the 7800x3d and my specific requirements? Also do not intend to do any heavy 3d modeling etc. Just normal OBS and simple editing softwares.
For the ssd I am looking for 2tb would you recommend the crucial t500 ? I hear that it’s really fast and it’s better than the crucial p5 plus 2tb… any thoughts?
Liked and commented!
Thank you!
So I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and soon am going to get a Ryzen 9 5900x.
I use it for gaming?
Excellent choice?
I am building this! Parts are ordered.
Awesome!
nice build, would a 7800xt work with this build? or is there a better cpu to go with the 7800xt
keep up the vids really well researched
Doesn’t matter
If you have the money obviously get a 7 7800x3d
@@ScatterVolt thank you!
@@emoney451 ill probably get the ryzen 5 7600 since the 7800x3d isnt available in my country
thanks for the input tho! ill consider it as an upgrade path
Hey! Could you please make a workstation build guide/parts guide for around 1000-1300 dollars? I am in a need of a workstation that can handle video editing and some other things, and even a little bit of gaming.

i love your watching your videos and sub to you on 3 of my accounts youve inspired me to build my first gaming pc and i work every weekend with my dad mowing lawns to get all my parts and i wanted to know if you can send me a low end gpu to finish my pc plz
The Silicon Power RAM packaging says it supports XMP standards but doesn’t mention EXPO. Any issues with the Silicon Power RAM and the MSI board when it comes to setting EXPO, since the MB manual says it supports AMD EXPO but no mention of XMP?
I need help! I have follow the instructions exactly. I purchased all the hardware from the list, put the PC together and started it up. Then got to the part that I need to hook up the ethernet cable. This thing will not recognize the ethernet. It has a port on back for ethernet that say 2.5G and that's it. I move the cable from 1 PC to the new and back. Cable works fine. I was under the impression this was a wifi capable board.
If I swapped the CPU to be a 7600x instead would the cpu fan be enough or would I need to look for something better?
Could someone tell me what I need to know in order to upgrade my PC? I have a RX 5600 XT and have been wanting to upgrade it but i dont know what currently restricts it on my current build.
Great vid I have a 4K uhd monitor 144hz what should I build to run this monitor to use it’s potential, not aiming to spend huge but have a good budget

Hey ScatterVolt i'm a big fan from india was just wondering can we use a R5 5600/5600x with the RX7700Xt?
Nothing is stopping you from doing that!
I think you can fit 7800XT or maybe 7900GRE in this budget if you make sacrifices that won't hurt actual performance
Let's GOOOO!
Welcome back Gohan!
great pc build! I am getting a 7600xt 16gb vram for 420 dollars should i go for it, also which amd processor would be best except this one.
I think the 6750xt/6700xt might be a better buy in your country if they’re about the same price
Bestie can you do a review on a maingear pc prebuilt?
Spoiler alert: It’s horrendously overpriced
@@ScatterVolt C R I E S
Will ryzen 7700X and rx 7900gre a good combo or should I change something?
great combo
I have a rtx 3080 ti. Would that work with this build?
There are a couple of components that, as you say are kinda overkill: the CPU cooler and the PSU. If we replace them with something cheaper, more suitable for the build, how would you improve this build itself with the extra budget?
Well I don’t necessarily count them into the final price of the pc if you checked the pcbuilds.gg link
I had to use them because they’ve been siting around in my office so I don’t quite count them budget wise

Loveeee this build and want it for my first pc but does anyone have UK amazon link equivalents?? Even when I typed into amazon "Radeon RX 7700 XT" different types came up? I'm a total noob if you can't tell lol
Try the pcbuilds.gg links. The Amazon ones change off of your location.
7700XT is A Beast and it's still getting better
Let’s hope the price of it keeps going down
It hurt to see that nvme get bent since it was put on top of the screw that's meant to secure it down before the heatsink got put on.
hey @Scattervolt, can u make PC build but all red? (The case is orange, i wanna see what ur case recommendation is for red)

I'm wondering if I should get the: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor or the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler? Because the 5600X is 119 dollars and the 7600 is 189 dollars but most yters are saying the 7600 even tho its more expensive.
Follow what the professionals are recommending
hi, i have ( AMD RYZEN 7 5800x) and the (ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS)..What do you advise me for a Graphics card? 🙏
RTX 4090
@@ScatterVolt OMG🤯is that rly your ID?
how much fps would i get on valorant if i play on 1080p 240 hz
IDK why people at PCMR sub don't say not use ssds like p3 plus to anyone looking for build advice. they always keep an eagle eye on RAM cas latency though.
Yeah, their advice is inconsistent at times.
What if i need a pc for productivity ? what gpu should i use instead of this?

enermax makes the best psu's im running a 850w with a ryzen 5800x am4 81gb ram ddr4 asus b450 plus 2 mb and a radeon rx 7600 xt 16gb gets the job done
Enermax do make excellent PSUs
I am watching this for the sake of just watching this. 🤣😂
I may have mentioned it before, but I do have this similar build, but I got an BNIB Asus proart creator B650 that came with 5600 mhz (2X8 gb) technically free since he said it came with it) for $145 USD and I just have a thermal assasin cooler and a 3060 ti
Edit: I have not bothered upgrading my ram as it doesn't make too much difference gaming for me either with 32 gb or 16 gb for my use case (League, Valorant, Palworld, and so forth)
just a question why do you not use the rx 6800 it has more VRAM than the rx 7700 xt? and why use ryzen 5 7500f instead of ryzen 5 7600 because the 7600 is 200 and its better
Worldwide availability of the 6800 is mixed. It’ll soon discontinue production and I intend for these builds to be up to date for at least 6 months.
7500F and 7600 are the exact same cpu, one just doesn’t have integrated graphics. They have the same performance.
some of the links dont really provide any details on the pricing, like the PSU link doesnt have anything but used, any PSU that is a sub?
There are other retailers if you expand the item. Newegg, Amazon, and Best Buy are supported on my website.
is the stock cooler enough for this kind of build? thanks
Of course if you have one lying around
Yo scattervolt, why didn't you use the montech sky two for 90$ instead of paying 70$ for the vetroo k3 and another 25$ for 2 other fans? the sky two alr has 4 fans!
Orange
This case is also beatiful, much beter than the montech sky two i was going to get for 20 more dollars.
The Montech Sky Two is a nicer case than this one and it comes with many more included case fans
@@ScatterVolt oh maybe for you but i prefer this one😊😊

@@ScatterVolt Like, a 5090 when it comes out and such
Question, I just got a ryzen 5600g with my old RX 570 8gb. Do I need to upgrade my power supply from 450w to either 550w or 650w?
Search up "power supply calculator" on google and that'll tell you if your current psu is enough or not
@@ScatterVolt Thanks alot, It says I should have at least 500-600 watts. I guess that's the reason why I'm only getting 30fps on valorant and it keeps on stuttering, because the power supply is limitting my gpu and cpu's performance. Do you think I should go for 650w, just to be sure?
would this be good for editing like using after effects
