  • This is the other new burner i have been working on, the venturi burner was very heavy on air usage and after 2 hrs caused my home made compressor from a refrigeration compressor to over heat and trip out on internal over load so i changed the design This unit
Runs off waste cotton seed oil and air pressure of around 3 - 10 psi max
the noise is the air being sucked in the rear of the burner
It is mainly made from old s/s dairy fittings
I have a few small leaks to correct before it is complete
A new video of the complete set up will be posted soon
    Thanks for watching

    Hi
In the video the wvo is not heated prior to the burner the out side temp was approx 15c so cold
the pressure of the air was around same as yours for diesel, may be you have some water in the oil, that will kill it, do you have the same type of nozzle set up as mine ? may be the oil has some other impurities in it, if you have a small vid of you set up post it and then tag me so i can have a look
    good luck

I have Built a burner Similar to this one. I can get it to run on Diesel Fuel 3/7 psi with no problem. Upon the switching to Waste oil I have to run the pressure as high as 40psi it spits and sputters and back fire then dies. Do you have an suggestions? I am heating the oil but to no avail.
