"We call it the "bröllops-song", says singer Salome Kornfeld about Stjärntändningen by Oskar Lindberg, "because if you listen to carefully, the third word of the song is bröllops- (wedding). And just the sound of the word bröllops and saying it out loud in our mother tounge Swiss German makes us genuinely happy."
The Swiss vocal ensemble pourChœur was founded in 2012 by Samuel Strub and Marco Beltrani. The singers of pourChœur share a special love for Scandinavian music, not only for its musical language, but for the actual sound of the words. In the fourth film from #swedishchoralmusic 2021, pourChœur sings the classical and much beloved Stjärntändningen by Oskar Lindberg.
