  • The Dubai metro is a modern, efficient, cost-effective way to navigate the Mesmerising city of Dubai. It was opened back in 2009, becoming the first urban train network in the Arabian peninsula. The metro network is spared in 4 different zones. There are two Metro Lines (green and Red) which runs through the city. There is also a Tram line Which is the Orange line and runs in the Marina Area. And also a monorail line which is dedicated for the Palm Island.

    First is the Metro Line Red. The Red line starts form Rashidya, the station is also called Centrepoint. And the line runs all way uptown Expo 2020. Crossing the whole downtown area of Dubai, through the Sheikh Zayed Road. Red line has total 35 Stations and has interchange stations with Dubai metro Green Line and Dubai Tram Line.
    Metro Red Line Runs through all 3 terminals of Dubai International Airport. And enters the Deira City Center. Deira is one of the major districts of Dubai, suitable for Living and work, also an affordable place to stay for tourists, as there are plenty of good accommodations in this area. There are total 4 stations on the same area GGICO, City Centre Deira, Al Rigga and Union.
    If you want to explore the Old Dubai areas at Deira like, Dubai Creek, and all the Souq’s. You can transfer to Green Line form Union station and the Next Station Bur Juman. Both this stations are interchange stations with Dubai Metro green line. After BurJuman you will enter the Dubai Downtown area.
    You will have ADCB, MAX, World Trade Center and Emirates Towers. If you want to visit Dubai Frame you have to get down at MAX Station take a 10 minutes walk to Dubai Frame. Here you can also enjoy Zabeel Park and Dubai Flea Market at the foot steps of the Debai Frame.
    On the other hand if you want to visit Dubai new addition and explore the future of the world, You have the Museum of the future. To reach there you have to get down at the Emirates Tower Metro Station. A sky walk is built there to connect the Museum with the metro station directly, which takes only 4-5 minutes. And you are entering the entrance lobby of the museum of the futures. If you are planning to visit the museum, make sure you book at least 2-3 months early. Because you cannot just enter the museum without prior booking.
    After Emirates Tower, next stop is the Financial center and right after that you have the buzzing and most crowded station of Dubai. This is Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall station. This metro station is directly connected to Dubai Mall. If you are planning to visit the world’s Largest shopping Mall, the Dubai Mall or you want to explore the Tallest building on earth Burj Khalifa, or you want to experience the Worlds finest Dancing Fountain, this is your station to get down.
    After Burj Khalifa Station you have the Business Bay station, which is the last station of Downtown and you will enter Al Barsha area after that. here you will find some of the most interesting malls, each linked to a station named after the mall. you will have Equiti, Mall of Emirates and Mashreq. Mall of emirates has so many to offer you. after Dubai Mall this is one of the most touristic malls of Dubai. It houses worlds largest indoor Ski resort, Ski Dubai. Can you imagine Skiing in desert? Yes Dubai offers you a snow park and Ski resort. The mall also have two of the most exclusive 5 start hotels attached to it. Sharaton Mall of emirates and Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.     Thank you for the informative video. Jut to note that the metro runs through Airport T3 and T1. T2 is not yet connected to the metro network. Emirates metro station is not an airport terminal, it provides access to Emirates Airline HQ for staff and to the surrounding area.
