Hi guys! Today I am building a manor for the Vatore family who came with the Vampire game pack! It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I hope you enjoy, thanks for watching!

Vampires can eat regular food, but it won't sustain them. Plasma fruit and plasma packs are some alternatives to drinking from sims and if you get far enough in the vampire lore skill, you learn a recipe for a plasma fruit salad and a drink called "plasma jane" that also help satisfy thirst. If they have the "withered stomach" flaw, they'll vomit when eating regular food (even plasma fruit), but neither of the Vatores have that flaw by default.
Being a good vampire really only requires that you don't drink from sims without permission, but I would personally give the Vatores a working kitchen because Caleb is a foodie, so I like to put him in the culinary career. (It might also be a good idea to have a plasma fruit tree in the conservatory for that reason, too.)
Also, this is kind of a minor detail, but I wouldn't put up portraits of Vlad in their house because even though it's not reflected in their relationships panel, they're meant to have sort of a strained history with Vlad.
Alice Erebus that’s odd my Sims have that trait where they can’t eat human food but they’re able to have Plasma Fruit with no problem
@@superfan2122 Yeah, my bad. Plasma fruit is actually fine, but food MADE with plasma fruit (plasma fruit salad, plasma jane) will make them sick.
Apperently Vlad was the one who turned the Vatore siblings and killed there mother. They don't have a good relationship whit Vlad because of that.
Make Lilith an art critic - she can turn all of the great artists she finds into her vampire family! She can be surrounded by great art for all eternity.
Finally a vampire build!! Occult sim appreciation 👑👏🏽
She usually spawns in as a personal trainer in my save files, My last vampire playthrough I set her as able to get others pregnant and had GORGEOUS twins with my original couples Daughter
thats crazy, i hooked her up with akira (the guy from city living) and they had twins too! does she have a hidden twin trait? i might try in another playthrough of mine to see if thats the case (and yeah the twins of mine were gorgeous too lol)

This is so good! And for their vampire status: Vlad turned another sim (Ms. Hell) who turned Caleb, and Vlad turned Lilith into a vampire directly. :)

ohhh the basement/terrain issue is the bane of my existence 😭 I had a household living in your delgato house reno and I added a basement lab for my scientist sim and it made the terrain funky in the weirdest places. Good job covering it in this build, it looks great!
I think having a kitchen fits the Vatores because Caleb is a foodie. He owns a dimly lit fancy restaurant in my game in the lot across from their house. I think I gave Lilith the fitness career.
Since I downloaded your save file this is the house I've played in the most! Caleb and Cassandra are engaged now and planning children

I discovered that when the terrain lifts up when you place a basement you need to lower the basement about two clicks using the height adjuster widget thingy. It’s the only way I’ve got round that problem
Louisa Rosina Thank you for sharing this! The only way I could figure out how to get around it was to build the basement before building the actual house, but that only works if I remember to do it, which isn’t often. I’m always so frustrated by it, and I’m glad to know that there is an easy fix!!
You’re welcome. It’s not a perfect fix because you get a gap between the ceiling of the basement and the floor above but it’s better than messed up terrain. I wish the sims team would fix it - assuming it is a glitch.

I think you could make Lilith a freelancer artist! She can work from home and at night, and since she is a creative sim it is perfect for her!

Basically, they will vomit if they eat sim food. The "good" vampires eat plasma fruit so, the conservatory is perfect for them to grow their food. There are I think a few vampire "recipes" but I think those all use plasma.
It was SO interesting watching you build this shell from front to back, rather than trying to decorate a box. Love how this turned out, even though I always delete vampires from my game, haha.
PS - Job wise, I think Lilith would be perfect for the new(ish) fashion photographer career. She has that look about her.
I saw this on the gallery and I fell in love. Watching your videos improved my roofing and landscaping (not the terrain paint yet though). Caleb's hairstyle remind me of Anthony Padilla's hair so maybe he can be a Simtuber..? and Lilith can be a Doctor. I want clutter stuff pack too and IKEA sp. The greenhouse is my favourite. Idk why I can't stop giggling when you said 'Apartment'.

I think making one of them in the medical career would make sense cause they can get plasma bags. Also I think the trailer shows that Vlad turned them even though it’s not in the game

I love the green house idea!!! The plants can grow during the day and can harvested at night! The massive amounts of mirrors are just to freak out non-vampires when they look back and only see their own reflection but not their hosts😉Mmwwaaaahhh!!!!
when i played the sims 4 vampires calleb always played the organ, i also feel like he maybe does some poetry or painting and cooking and bartendng, he seems verry charismatic to me aswell, Lilith is very athletic and maybe also does some painting in her spare time, she could have the charisma skill aswell, i also think it would be great to give her some skill in parenting, eventhough she doesn't have a family yet i think she would be the type to be prepared for everything, i also feel like she might do some gardening, i relate roses to the vatores very much.

new builds for old family in sims 4
The terrain lift is a weird glitch that happens when you build a basement under a house on foundation, there is an interesting work around and explanation though - if you build a basement room under the foundation and another basement room under the ground where there is no foundation, you will see the one under the foundation is higher, because the wall height is fixed but goes from the top down instead of the bottom up the way it does above ground. To fix this and prevent the terrain lift, instead build a basement under the ground where you have no foundation and then drag it under the foundation and shape it the way you want. Don't just pick it up and move it, because that will change the height, instead push/pull the walls until you have dragged it out under where you want and then shrink the walls down to the correct placement/shape. The stairs will be longer than normal because The basement will be lower than the length of the wall height, however the terrain will remain flat!

I agree, giving them a makeover really makes them feel more personable. I gave them a makeover myself and I adore them!!! Also low key ship them with the Goth kids. 😅 (Moved the Goths to Forgotten Hollow and aged them up. I'm thinking the Vatores enlist the help of the Goths in taking down Vladimir.)
For some reason when I build in this area, I always make the basement a ‘cell’ area for the vampire food sorces.

I have a kinda gothic family too who live in a big creepy mansion, however they are more in line with the Addams Family. They all wear black, their names all start with the same letter -> G including dog Gargoyle. The house has plenty of spacious rooms, secret doorways a coffin room and all in dark colours, preferably black
With a few adjustments, this may just suit my needs.
Looks amazing. This world is mostly empty on my saves as not many people make houses for this world.

I believe Vlad turned Lilith (and not Caleb) into a vampire tho I might be wrong also vampires can’t eat human food, vampires who don’t like drinking plasma can buy plasma packs from a computer or most likely drink from the plasma fruit

i built a house the other day that had a foundation and put a basement and it messed with my terrain too!! to fix it, you have to lower the basement and the terrain will go back flat!
When a sim has the good vampire trait they tend to be tense when drinking from a sim. Drinking from plasma fruit and plasma pack is okay.
I made Caleb a doctor when I played him, since he is good and he will have easier access to plasma without hurting sims. (Can’t actually get plasma from the hospital but just for his story)

when I had the problem of the foundation raising bc of a basement, I fixed it by slightly raising the foundation bc I cannot use terrain tools at all

I would love to someone do a light and bright vampire house, or a Modern build not all vampires are dark and (Victorian) gothic (even thought I love that they suit any style but they can suit any style.) Vampires do eat normal food, shower and go to the bathroom. Pretty much like normal sims they just have magic powers
Vampires don’t have a bladder need, and regular food doesn’t satisfy their thirst need.
Lilith could be a vampire stylist with the bedroom set up you did for her

I actually moved into the neighborhood as a witch. I moved Caleb in and got engaged. I imagine his sister inheriting the house they lived in so she can grow her own family. I wish sims dated each other on their own without the players manipulation. It would add to the story telling aspect when playing. I love your build, but I'll put it on the other unoccupied lot.

As I played Lilith since shortly after Vampires release I think I got a good story for her.
With the release of the pack I created a new Sim who I wanted to get Caleb. It was so cute that Caleb was always coming over and wanted to spend time with her. It happened that they fell in love, she gave birth to a daughter and married.
Of course I thought about how I could get Lilith her own family or out of the house but I had no idea. Then, when Realm of Magic came out I was like "Maybe she never wanted to be a vampire, so she wants to be a witch as being mortal is boring?". So I made her a witch and I think she found what she wanted. She never got to bond with males so I wanted her to try it with girls. Thought about women who could suit her and well, I wanted a original Sim so she got Bella Goth. As Lilith still lived with her brother and his own family she took care of her niece as she couldn't get her own family. After she turned into a witch she moved out and Bella moved in. As Lilith finally found the love of her immortal life she wanted to know how it feels like to be pregnant as Bella already had two kids. So they tried. Multiple times. Lilith never became pregnant. Possibly because she was human, then vampire and now a witch. Bella got pregnant after the first try. Now they got two cute twins, two boys and Lilith found her place in life.
That's literally how it all turned out. I only thought about how I could write it down and every choice happened in Sims, without me doing anything.

Gorgeous build, I love Victorian architecture, but why would you add a greenhouse and mirrors to a home made for people who burn in sunlight and can't see their own reflection?

vampires always drink plasma but they can be like "vegetarian" about it and drink from something thats essentially a juice box instead of drinking from other sims
