Nice. Also found out the other day that if you run out of adjustment up or dow you have a +-1 variance in the float factory setting. I think these units come at 3 on the scale and you change them up or down as needed.
Great video but I think you’re wrong on the ice thickness adjustment. For thicker ice you actually push the tab down not up according to the manual “down = more water thicker ice “ “up less water =thinner ice “
There are two floats in that white box. One is the harvest float and one is the water level float. The tab controls the harvest float. Moving the tab up moves the harvest float down. This causes the machine to use more of the water in the trough before cycling into harvest. This causes the ice to be thicker. Moving the tab down raises the harvest float and makes the ice thin. I may also be wrong about this but I’m pretty sure that’s correct.
Seems the evap probably had calcium buildup causing the ice to stick to the plate on the left side that’s why the sheet was breaking in half even on the thickest setting
Thank you for your help. Got me out of trouble. Australia

You are correct!
They definitely needed some descale.
Run a nickel safe cleaning cycle.. then you make adjustments as needed
True
Thank you that was so easy
You’re welcome!
Good job
Thank you.
Coolness
My ice machine has too thick of a slab what do I do?
You could by cleaning the machine. Then check the water supply.
HVAC guy all like: Its going to need a new flux capacitor that'll be about $500
Definitely heard that one before! lol. 😂
Mm Adjust that thick slobby icing
lol
