    So thats what the interior of a Bronco looks like😂
    These lights look fantastic and the installation looks easy enough that even i can do it. Definitely going to get a set of these. Great video!

      Hahahaha! I know right! Thank you for watching, I appreciate it. Yes, the installation is really straight forward, and is quite simple. Very few things to remove to make them work and they are simply plug and play. Good luck if you decide to get them!

    If Mabett used a clear lens instead of tinting them, the light output would improve drastically.

      That may be true but the tinted lens helps them blend into the surround when they are off. They are plenty bright enough and if they were clear you would see the mechanism and the LEDs which wouldn’t look as nice when they are off.

    Question for yah, maybe it’s pretty obvious but just wanna double check. I want these dome lights for the Bronco but I don’t care to spend the extra $ updating the rear cargo dome light, personally I don’t need more light back there and I think the 4 new domes will be more than enough light even when opening the back with the stock light. Is the installation the same if working with the stock rear cargo dome light? There’s enough room for the connector or relay or whatever it’s called to put inside?

      @forgivemylaughter - Absolutely, you do NOT have to have a new rear cargo light for these to work, you can plug them into the OEM light back there and they will work just fine as well. At the 1:50 mark in the video I show just that, I plug the new Mabett dome lights into the OEM light, and then I also show it with the upgraded Mabett dome light. It works just fine with the OEM one. Plenty of room for the connector and to be able to set it up how you need to. Hope that helps! Good luck and thanks for watching!

      @@CUPRADESIGN haha I’m going to watch the video so don’t think I wasn’t paying attention. I’m doing some research before buying these and scrolled through the video quickly. I keep seeing vids that are doing installations with the rear dome and the 4 door lights so just wanted to ask and make sure. I’ll go to the video to check this out. Appreciate the info, this is going to be a life saver having these! Maybe the rear dome add on is great too but I don’t think I need it. Too many other add ons to get!

    I bought the kit and the rear light and havent installed yet. What i did notice is that the instructions say to remove the "Front Reading Lamp". Another thing i noticed is the harness is side specific. I do have to check the passenger . side now. It may have to do with what you said about the harness being plugged in backward

      Interesting, I didn't need to remove the front reading lamp at all. I removed the rear one and the harness worked just fine after I swapped them over. As you see it in the video is exactly how I installed it. Good luck with your install and I hope it goes well, and thank you for watching, I appreciate it!

      Well i installed it in the rear despite what the instructions said, replaced the overhead lamo and cargo lamp at the same time. Super easy, and bright as can be. Now we need somone to come up with a combo ventshade/ rain gutter ! Thanks for your help yet one more time

      @@anthonygallo3576 - That's awesome! Yeah, this way works just as well, really simple to install and so, so much brighter in the Bronco now. Makes a literal night and day difference!

    Can these be installed without removing the Top Panels?

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Yes, they could, but you’d have to find some way of pushing the wiring inside. You could maybe get away with just loosening the panel and not removing it completely, but there really is no harm to removing the panels and it makes it so much easier for the install. Hope that helps.

  • @forgivemylaughter

    Anyone got experience doing this install with the hard top? I’m wonder if the dome light part is going to be rough as you can’t really get your hand up and over with the ceiling there.

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 15 dny

      The access shouldn't really be all that different, as long as you can slide your hand in there. Admittedly, we have a soft top, but I've installed these lights with the soft top on, and the soft top off as far as the back panel goes. As for adding the lights in the front area, you'll be able to remove your front and center hard top panels if need be, or you can still access them from within, with the panels on. It's not difficult at all.

      @@CUPRADESIGNyeah absolutely, I was thinking that, that I would remove the 2 front roof panels. However I was thinking I may be in for some work with the cargo cuz that ain’t coming off for this project haha
