    @MrNosurprises He tells you the chords, basically he's just changing the root note during the verse though. GCF are the roots, they are all on the 3rd fret. Just watch him.

  • @tombuttner
    @tombuttner Před 12 lety

    @tombuttner Or rather its not a Sheraton II, but an original run Sheraton.

  • @blackfrancis55
    @blackfrancis55 Před 14 lety +1

    @jackmilas ..Why? What more could you need? You can see him playing it-he gives you the chords. The only thing that might be confusing is that he says the chords in relation to the capo, rather than their first position forms, and doesn't explain that. But so what? You can see what he is holding.

    The rhythm for Slow Show goes like:
    Patata patata pa-ta
    Patata patata pa-ta
    (two triplets, and two half beats)
    Just can't figure out where he strums up or down.

    • @Zonrup
      @Zonrup Před 10 lety +5

      Down down* up, down down* up, down up is the strumming pattern
      pa ta ta, pa ta ta , pa - ta
      I tried to match the strum directions with the rhythm you wrote, that probably won't show up properly on mobile.
      The ones with asterisks are where he "half-asses" the strum and doesn't hit the lower strings to avoid repeating the bass notes

    • @gracerulloda
      @gracerulloda Před 10 lety

      Thanks! I end up doing down-up-down-up throughout when trying to figure it out, and it sounds ok but not as nice. Will try this out later. :)

    • @theogoldfinch1487
      @theogoldfinch1487 Před 8 lety

      +Zonrup Actually it's down up down* - down up down* - down* up (try singing it out loud - not the lyrics but "down up down, down up down, down up" and you'll hear it

      @@BrettTalleyMusic that guitar confuses me too... The Problem with the 50. anniversary model is just it got mini Humbuckers, Aarons got full size Humbuckers (and its obviously Cherry Red ;) ) maybe a standard sheraton with the frequensator Bridge?

    They're quite good! And I think this is a very thought-provoking question!
    I'd say the following American bands are certainly better: Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Animal Collective.
    And the following American bands may be better (time will tell): Grizzly Bear, Lightning Bolt, LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, Dirty Projectors, Wavves.

    how can you compare Animal collective with Wilco?
    do you prefer Brother Sport or At least that what you said?
    ahahahahahah
    I think you should be deaf to compare them.
    and if it is too hard to comprehend for you: they're doing too much different music.

  • @MQqua1
    @MQqua1 Před 14 lety

    You are comparing one of the best-critically-reviewed American bands of the decade (Animal Collective) with one of the most hated non-bands of the decade (Britney Spears).
    That'll teach me to post a serious comment on CZcams.
